I have given this place multiple chances solely because I enjoyed the other location of deluxe nails and spa. Although the manager is very attentive and engaging with all customers, the work done here has been aggressively subpar during all of my visits. I made a couple's appointment, we got there and still had to wait over 15 minutes. It was rushed and not nearly as relaxing as it should have been. Another time I got a waxing and bad burns on my face near my eyebrows. The last straw is when I went to get by eyebrows waxed by a different technician and her over plucking made my eyebrow look like there was a giant unnatural dent in the arch area. read more

Horrible! Customer Beware! My daughter and I went for our first ever visit and it was wonderful the gentleman at the front desk was great, superb customer service, very nice and welcoming. the place is decent and clean- your average nail salon. The reason I'd rate it so low is because the pedicure I got was the most painful pedicure ever. The lady kept cutting me and digging the clippers into my toes, I had to ask so many times for her to stop, till I gave up and said to just do the color and I gave up on the pedicure part. It's been 5 days since I got the pedicure and my toes hurt so bad from all the cuts she left and how close she cut to the nail. They up charge for everything. Any shape other than square is an up charge. Any length deemed too long by your tech is an up charge. They run out of colored powders frequently and customer service has severely declined. I use to come for the customer service, ambience, and quality. All, in my opinion, are no longer maintained. I normally never give this terrible of a rating, but I have given this place multiple chances to achieve a higher rating, however it just doesn't deserve it. Upon my second visit here I was just as disappointed as my first, and here's why. When you walk in you are welcomed and are made to feel special, offered complimentary drinks, and have an elegant setting ( I do give that part 5 stars), but here's where the ratings really matter. It DOESN'T matter if you have an appointment, you still have to wait for an excessive amount of time (ex: today I waited 45 mins when I had an appointment). The only part that's fast is how quickly the guy Kevin brings you drinks. Kevin is super sweet and super wonderful, but the wait time is what absolutely stresses you out. As a busy woman, I hardly ever get to do things for myself, so when I do, I expect the best because I feel that when I treat myself (again rarely) that I do deserve the best. I almost walked out today, because I was that irritated that I felt that my business and relaxation didn't matter to them. They could have been honest and said they were busy, but they left me and my sister in a pedicure chair for 45 minutes with no water, yes NO WATER! After we called the front desk on our phones from the chair and said we needed to leave is when they finally had someone come to us. It was almost as if we didn't even want the pedicures anymore because we were completely stressed out. However once we finally started our pedicure it because relaxing up until the color we brought to the chair disappeared and couldn't be found. I would definitely take caution in coming to this place if you don't have much patience. If you have little to no patience then steer clear of this place, it will only piss you off and stress you out. I hope this helps someone to prevent the way I felt today. (I posted all of this as I'm getting my pedicure, so imagine how frustrated I am feeling) read more

I went this evening to Deluxe Nail and Spa for the first time and really enjoyed my experience! The atmosphere is elegant, luxurious, impeccable and clean. I'm emphasizing on the clean part, as cleanliness is important in a public place - especially a salon. When I walked in for my appointment the gentleman, Brandon, greeted me kindly and immediately and was the same throughout my entire visit - along with being very professional. He checked on me (more than once) to make sure I was doing good, offered me a beverage, and made sure my experience was good. They seem to have a large variety of nail polish options to choose from; although, I didn't end up using any of them. I like that it is one big room and you can easily see everything. In the center of the room (front half of the room) there is a big oval granite counter for those who are only getting their nails done. In the center (back half of center of room) there are nice and comfortable chairs, and along the outside walls as well. They have built-in tv screens, which is nice. Music playing, which I enjoyed more than the TV's (my personal preference). I got my nails done, a pedicure and toe nail polish - and everything was great! Tina did my pedicure and polished my toe nails (to match my nails) and she did a great job! Wish I could have her come to my house every day and work her magic...the massage on my legs and feet were that good! Trish did my nails at the same time while I was sitting in the chair getting my pedicure and toe nail polish. Trish did a nice job as well. And I appreciated how they each went out of their way to make sure I liked what they were doing. This should be a given, but not every customer service-related company does this. In addition, I like to give credit where credit is due. I try to give props when deserved because a lot of times other people only report the bad and not the good - whether it's to a supervisor, on Yelp!, etc. I would definitely recommend coming here, as I had a wonderful experience! I have been visiting Deluxe for some time now. Unfortunately, today's visit was the worst yet. I visited this morning & got a refill w/gel which totaled $47, which I happily paid for. After I left the salon I realized that the color was a little too bold for my taste. I went back later in the day to get a polish change and to my surprise, I was charged $30!! I voiced my concern to the hostess, and she was very nonchalant and unprofessional. I have no issue with paying for quality service, but the cost for a color change, even gel, is price gouging at best. I will not visit again. If any one has a suggestion for a quality, more affordable nail salon...let me know! read more

Never, ever will I go here again. I asked if they do pink and white - yes. I asked if they can do a heart design - yes. So I booked an appointment. It was a frustrating experience. I have longer natural nails and get the acrylic overlay, with an oval shape and then little hearts as a design; nothing very complicated. I showed the nail tech and the pedicure tech my then current design and they said yes, they can do it. The nail tech kept letting the drill get too hot, he scratched me several times with the files and then gave me pointed nails. When he finally corrected them, they are now too short. The pedicure tech tried to draw a flower and I said no flower. I had to ask for the manager three times then wait for someone who could actually do a design. My toes design is ok but I will be going to another place to get a my nail design. It is crooked and does not look like a heart at all. They kept asking me if I wanted a drink (it's a nail place - not a bar!) The manager kept asking if it was ok; I showed her and said does this look ok. She smiled and said yes. I really liked this place and I have gone for months, but today the nail tech really did not do a good job. The color isn't blended well for some reason and she made some nails much shorter than others. I am usually really picky about my color and nails in general, but today when I asked to change the color my nail tech was kind of rude about it. And she did not help me choose the right color when I asked to see that specific color. The shape is also pretty bad. I am just kinda sad that I did not get what I wanted and still had to pay especially because I used to like this place a lot. Not going back here again. The one thing that drew me to this place was the fact that they're opened until 730! You don't have a lot of nail shops open that late that are decent and well taken care of. Love that they take care of you as soon as you walk in. Love that they write down your services so you can see what you're being charged. The only thing I didn't like was that the second time I went, I was never asked for something to drink. Then, the third time I went I told them I was never asked the previous time. The guy at the front desk, I'm assuming is the owner, then asked me what I wanted. Told him I wanted a glass of wine... I never got that wine, only a bottle of water. I don't know about y'all but I like to relax and enjoy a glass of wine when doing so. Not sure if it's because you gotta pay for a certain service in order to get a glass of wine but whatever (I was getting a new set of powder and their minimum pedicure). Needless to say, I haven't been back since then. No offense to them, but my old nail shop is now back in business after Harvey.
