On the weekend, they had baked goods for sale right out on the sidewalk in the main pedestrian area of Odense. They offered up free samples of their chocolate rye bread. When you walk inside, you get to see the bakers at work, rolling and kneading dough, and get wonderful wafts of the cinnamon and dough. You really cannot go wrong with anything they sell. Grab a coffee and sit and enjoy. They also sell a few sandwiches, but we never tried them.

The clients tend to be primarily locals, but there are a large number of tourists who discover it. The seating area is quite nice if you want to eat in, or you can do takeout. This is one of our favorite places in Odense and we can't wait to return.
