They said it was still a little dirty and they wanted to wash it again. Peeved, but understandable. They said they would text me when it was ready. Text never came. I went back in the next day and it was ready. Upcharged to $17 I assume some of the pieces came off in what must have a been anything but gentle wash. Again, understandable- it's homemade and accidents happen. But instead of telling me, they attempted to fix it, and in doing so, messed up the blanket even more. Pieces were sewn back on. Poorly. Many were not placed back where they came from, and because they were sewn on with a machine, many of the crochet stitches became warped. Some spots were sewn on so poorly that the thread was actually loose. Some pieces that were originally white came back gray, and this had been washed before so I know nothing bled colors. In conclusion: they did not do as I asked, did not tell me it had been damaged, and tried to repair it in such a way that they made it worse.

I was just a bit concerned about that as I wasn't told upon dropping them off. I was given the option of how quickly these needed to be turned around. Overall a very good experience. Nothing to do with Herman Jackson's, but parking is always an adventure in San Marco and it would be nice if they had their own parking. It would also be nice to have an idea of what the cost was going to be before leaving the drop off but the fact that it was reasonable more than made up for that. They insisted that Jos A. Bank was the one to blame for making the tie like that. I just wanted the box imprint that they made gone and they said it was not their problem. The cleaners eventually told us not to come back there after we insisted on getting our $3.00 money back for ruining the $100 tie. I would not recommend them to anyone who values their belongings.
