My husband and I made reservations but needed to change them last minute. Lori, the manager was very accommodating, and when we arrived, we found out our room was not on ground level (We had to carry a lot of luggage from the car), so they moved us to a beautiful, ground level corner room with windows that overlooked the golf course. After a hard day of travelling, it was exactly what we needed. Quiet, peaceful, and very comfortable. The staff always seemed to have a smile on their face and they gave great recommendations for the local restaurants. They also had a restaurant on site that was open from early afternoon to late at night. I was surprised by the quality and quantity for what you paid. Breakfast was decent, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs, bacon or sausage (it looked like they alternated between days) baked goods and a little coffee bar at the front. They ran out of eggs when we came out for breakfast, but one of the front desk workers immediately refilled the tray when we expressed disappointment that we missed it. The surrounding area is very green and lush, and I enjoyed the little birdhouse that was next to the entrance. Highly recommend.

Yesterday, July…read more10th, 12 days before our trip they send me an email telling me that there was a glitch with Expedia and they are booked solid and cannot honor our reservation. It took them 6 months? It seems more like they did not like the price that I booked at so they chose not to honor my reservations and rent the rooms to someone willing to pay a higher rate. Looking at their reviews I am not the first person that they have done this to. However, on the bright side many of the reviews complained about how dirty the hotel is and one person even mentioned bed bugs. Anyway, if you can stay at a different hotel where the owner/manager is not a price gouging asshole with zero integrity...do it.

Instant oatmeal (wish it wouldn't have been instant), scrambled eggs, and sausage is what I ate for breakfast. Everything was hot. The area was clean. There were plenty of tables for the guests. While the building and rooms are showing signs of age, I gave them an extra star because the staff was so nice. Whether it was providing directions, welcoming us, getting Husband a toothbrush he forgot, or helping us with our AC, everyone we encountered worked together as a team to ensure we had everything we needed and that our stay was pleasant. The breakfast was unappetizing. Containers were dirty. And if you still want to eat, make sure you get your breakfast by 530 or you don't eat. From the moment we arrived, the service was beyond hospitable. The temperature was -19. We went to the room and the heater was working so hard it was screaming! We asked for a different room because we knew we could not sleep with the noise. The night clerk immediately switched us. Although the heater in the new room was not quite as noisy, it was still pretty bad. The next morning, we asked to be moved once again. Brent said he would go into every room to find one that was quiet. He found one. The day and night were still bitterly cold, but the heater was quiet. Two days later, we wanted to have a family gathering since we had not seen all the siblings for several months. We asked for recommendations of nearby places that we could get about 25 people together for lunch and visiting. Again, the Boulders staff came to the rescue. Once the breakfast area was cleaned, they said we could use that area and the beautiful lobby area to gather our family. It was extraordinary. I cannot give the ratings they deserve! You will not stay at a better place as far as friendly people and people who are willing to do almost anything to make your stay the best.
