Staff is very rude. Wait times are 45 min plus. Will not return phone calls. The Dr. is a great Dr. Wish he has a better staff and location.

I have been seeing Dr. Susan Levin for more than 10 years. I was in a bad place in my life when I…read morefirst saw her and I felt she was compassionate and caring. She knows my history, spends time with me, and always answers my questions. The front desk staff is very efficient and the nurses are excellent. I've been happy with my care here, although it is sometimes hard to get an appointment. I feel Dr. Levin's approach to care is very professional and she takes a holistic view of patient care - always referring me to another physician if she feels there may be an issue. I highly recommend this clinic. Cate F., Ringwood, NJ

I'm patient of Dr. Levin for over two years and after the last incident I'm looking for a new…read moredoctor that actually cares about their patients and is passionate about their work. Every time I see Dr. Levin is like I was meeting her for the first time. She doesn't remember that I'm her patient and doesn't remember any of my medical history. She is completely disconnected from her work and her patients. She just doesn't care and she even doesn't hide it. In April I called to make an appointment for my physical. The earliest one they had was in July so I scheduled it along with blood work. I had to take day off from work since they don't do blood work on weekends anymore. When I arrived to the office the receptionist informed me that I have to reschedule my appointment since Dr. Levine is on vacation. I could not believe what I was hearing. I waited three months for that, took day off from work especially for that and all for nothing. It shows how Dr. Levin and her stuff are completely unprofessional and don't care about their patients. If you are considering that practice because is convenient location wise please do yourself a favor and find some other doctor before you find yourself sitting in their waiting room feeling your blood pressure rising because two hours passed already and you are still in the same chair in the waiting room....

Somewhat of a complicated affair for reviewing a primary care physician, so let me break it down:…read more The Physician: Elder, about 50-60 years old, polish or german descent, short stature. Pleasant, to the point, intelligent, always busy. Very well accredited, lots of current awards adorn the walls. Excellent blood drawing technique. Expertise and focus in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. The Clientele: Elderly to the very elderly and almost disabled. Predominantly white, probably more upscale based on the area. The Facilities: It basically looks like someone's house. Parking is on gravel with about 6-7 spots available (never that busy). The inside is very cramped and close-quarters, but functional as an office. Bathroom is available with a key. Seating room has space for about 10-12 cramped. The Staff: The lady at the front desk is somewhat unfriendly, unprofessional, and not someone you'd like to start a conversation with. Her alone makes me second guess wanting to go to this place. The nurses and surrounding staff are fast, friendly, and efficient. The Equipment and Processing: Because Dr. Mentakis has a background in cardiovascular disease, checkups include additional tests (full body EKG, ultrasound, pulmonary, etc.) that put me $125 over what my company health plan reimburses for an annual checkup. The equipment is newer and the staff is well trained on it, but the costs creep up quickly. Overall, I'm happy with his level of expertise and the way he conducts his business, I think if he were more up-front about the costs and replaced the front desk secretary, I'd enjoy coming here.

i agree with the previous post that the heavy set lady has a nasty rude demeanor and if she don't…read morelike you she will send your blood work to a non network provider so you will be billed a lot more. I don't know why this dr would have this rude lady working at his office
