We bought a motorhome from Dennis Dilon RV in Boise Idaho in October of 2021. 1) We took it camping the first week we had it. At 6:00 am the propane leak detector went off. We found the leak after getting home. DDRV claimed they pressure tested it twice before we got it. 2) It is now the end of December 2021 and we still do not have a valid Title. The state claims DDRV hasn't sent in the paperwork. DDRV claims they have twice, but the state has lost it. We have called DDRV 4 times to get them to follow up with the state. They have told us they will but so far to no avail. 3) I called today and talked to Jeremy (sales manager). He again said he would help but then told me I had a bad attitude... I guess Jeremy thinks it ok to buy a $90k vehicle and then just let it sit in the drive because it can't be registered or plated.... read more

Not sure what this place is about. It's EXTREMELY hard to get into the place since the convoluted road to it is closed from one direction, so there's only one way in. I was interested in talking to someone about their motorcycles because I'm in the market. I spent probably fifteen minutes inside walking around looking at everything, looking at all the people that work there doing this and doing that. In the time I was there not one single person said a single word to me, didn't even look at me, and that includes the receptionist at the front desk - coming in and leaving - not one word. I'm not sure why they're even there if they don't want to talk to prospective customers coming through their front door. But I do know for sure I will NEVER waste my time going there again. How does a business STAY IN BUSINESS with no customer service? Maybe they think they have enough customers already. read more

Dennis Dillon RV are impersonal at best, downright rude otherwise. I brought my toyhauler in for a furnace issue, the furnace will not run overnight even when plugged into shore power. I was told by the service writer that my unit was working correctly. I got the trailer home and spent the night in the driveway. The furnace did not turn on once during the night. It was 49 degrees inside the trailer. The t-stat was set for 71 degrees. At 9 am the furnace finally turned on. I am confused. I sent pictures of the thermostat with acual temp and set temp (time and date stamped) to the service writer. I was charged nearly 200.00 for this. Next issue is that I now have a chunk missing from my bodywork that wasn't there before I brought my trailer into Dernnis Dillon RV. I have emailed the service writer about this and have had no response. it has been 1 week since this happened. This is not what I was told about. I have been told by another service writer in this store that this issue is my problem not theirs. I guess I get to take it and like it ? I will tell every single person I meet about my experience with Dennis Dillon RV. This might not effect them at all. So far my dealings with ANYONE that has been connected with Forest River RV corp. has been a nightmare. I went under the trailer to inspect the wiring that Dennis Dillon told they had inspected, wow! I found the battery disconnect had a loose pole (couldn't be tightened) and a connector on the circuit breaker that led to the furnace had only 2 strands of wire crimped inside it. I told the VP (Joe) of Dennis Dillon of this, he said that I should fix it. I took my trailer back to Dennis Dillon Today May 16 2022, The Vice President of the company told me point blank that if I wanted my unit looked at I would Have to take this review down. I saved this and removed it as requested. I arrived there at the dealership I was greeted by the service writer and the VP, we went out to look at my trailer and I showed them the damage. I was then told that this wasn't their fault that it could have happened in their parking lot and what did I want them to do about it? The only things that have been anywhere near the front of my unit have been my Ford PU and their forklift. The conversation was going nowhere, I got in my truck and left. UPDATE on 11/13/21 My respect for Dennis Dillion RV continues to grow. I love my Micro Minnie. Our furnace had been working great, but suddenly stopped working recently. I took it in for a warranty repair and also asked the service department to check my electric stabilizers which had become intermittent. I got my Minnie back SOONER than promised (for a status 8 months ago... Regarding purchase experience. Top rate experience from start to finish. Keith is an excellent sales advisor ... not pushy at all. He simply provided clear, professional assistance in telling us the features/benefits of several brands we had interest in. He allowed us to go at our pace and we love the selection and purchase we made. Vantz in accessories, helped us add/purchase items onto our travel trailer. After waiting for delivery, all added items were done in a day! On pickup, Rusty was great at giving us the tour and operating details of our new trailer. He was thorough and patient. Mitch in service as also very helpful. My wife and I felt relaxed, cared for and comfortable at EVERY step in yhe process. Ok so being an RV owner of an older Alfa See Ya for 7 years I've had to deal with some serious BS service centers. Literally $10,000s of dollars for sub par service! My experience at Dennis Dillon RV was literally Aces! Unbelievable how great the service center was. They understood my coach and saved me $1000s of dollars by being fair and honest! We bought the extended warranty on a brand new class C Dynaquest XL. We used it once and the motor went out on the slide. Got it in for service within a day of our call, which is great, but it goes downhill from there. After 10 days in the service department we had to call to find out what the status was on getting the motor to fix the slide - fast forward - 6 more days after multiple phone calls and being told the part had not even been sent yet and the service guy had not followed up on a tracking number for the part despite us making multiple requests for it. We called three more times and went up the chain - finally this resulted in supposedly the part being 'overnighted' and a promise that it would arrive in the shop Monday morning and we would have our RV back by Tuesday so we could leave on our 4th of July camping trip. Now only to find out, we were lied to again - the part did not overnight for a Monday delivery - it might deliver by Wednesday morning, blowing up our holiday plan and departure. Poor service on multiple accounts, speed, communication and follow through to customer. We have spent hundreds of thousands on this new RV and really a bummer show of service and a disappointing repair required after only owning a handful of months. read more

BEWARE! Don't sign up for anything extra in the finance office until you read it thoroughly. We purchase the interior & exterior paint & fabric warranty-finance guy said it was all covered. Well, our door started peeling. We were told Oh, sorry but the "decals" aren't covered. What the heck?? That's the majority of the exterior of a MH or trailer. Hello, I have done a fairly negative review on Yelp regarding the service I have received on my RV in the past. There was a contact by Dennis Dillon support to possibly resolve the issue,  but unfortunately by that time I was several thousand miles away. I made an appointment to have my slide adjusted and safety locks fixed a month ahead of time. And I let the service department know we were very unhappy with the length of time to resolve the problem, and the quality of the work the last time we were in for repairs.  Since I originally purchased my rv here I really want to believe that Dennis Dillion service is the place to get good service. On Wednesday, July 25th they began the repairs.  One issue I had was a slide adjustment a fairly minor adjustment, it just would not go quite all the way out.  I recieved a call about an hour after I  left my rv that they needed to see me.  The slide on my 08 National Pacifica had been overextended causing a lot of damage. There is a limiter switch on the rv to prevent that from happening,  and it has never done that before. But they managed to do that. We always close our bay doors when opening or closing our slide.  The door to the braking system was open and damaged leading me to believe that the brake limiter had been adjusted. I live full time in my rv with my wife. We were told to contact our insurance company to resolve this and that the service department would not be able to start repairs until an adjuster was able to come out and authorize the service.   We are now homeless having spent several days in around 100 degree weather living in our pickup at a local public park, We have stayed a few nights at friends in Boise, then with relatives  in Washington because our rv is not liveable. But couch hopping is not a good way to live. The service manager suggested that we may be able to trade our rv, so we would not have to be without a home, so my wife and I asked to see a few rv's.   We found one we liked and Shain the sales manager, while very nice, told us not at this time because he couldn't take our rv as trade in it's current condition. So after thinking about everything I have come to the understanding that we brought our home in for minor repairs leaving it in the service department where it was damaged enough that it was unlivable.  Dennis Dillion takes no responsibility to repair it, tells me to contact my insurance to fix the damages they have caused, they let me know I may be able to trade, then tells me I can't trade until repairs are made, leaving my wife and myself and my dog homeless. There has been no attempt of any kind to help us resolve any single issue other than "pay for it yourself". My insurance company says it  is not their responsibility I have asked the service manager whose name is Beau to have someone contact me that is above him. So, here I am, asking for your help.  I don't believe my insurance should be responsible.  And I should not be responsible. Please, Dennis Dillion step up to the plate, contact me asap and get this resolved. read more

Terrible place to try and buy anything. We sat for 2 hrs while the salesman and finance tried to Nickle and Dime us. We wouldn't buy the extended warranty so they were making us wait, but we didn't give in and left. When I went back to get what we ordered, they weren't happy and basically gave me the cold shoulder and rushed the paperwork through and gave me what I ordered just to get rid of me. The salesman was very rude and pretty much gave us the keys and said here you go! Poor excuse for a salesman, rushed through the operating procedures and expected us to drive off without knowing how to properly operate the machine. These people need to go back and learn how to sell RV's or ATV's. Very pushy. Don't deal with Craig, he's the worst and poor excuse of a salesman (little man syndrome). You are better off going to Nampa Or Caldwell for and off road vehicles, very nice people and take their time to explain everything. read more

I can not imagine worse Sales and Service by a company. The RV is sold with the seller providing very little information on how to operate the coach. Issues like the levers for black water and grey water flush were switched. Repeated calls with basic questions and visits to the service center to get answers provided little overall assistance. The service Representative took 4 months to get us our 2nd ignition key promised at sale. The representative did not call back for 2 months!! After 7 months To get an appointment it will take 6 weeks to fix a refrigerator that is still under warranty. So all planned vacations over the next six weeks will be without the use of a refrigerator. Amazing how companies can survive. read more

Purchased a Highland Ridge Mesa Ridge camper 10/2019 and had a great experience with the salesman & final financing purchase, but when it came to the 1yr of bringing the camper back to address warranty covered issues... well, we quickly learned the SERVICE DEPT was pure CRAP. We were told we should have the camper back within 7-10days. It took 7WEEKS and not everything was done. This was during covid so were very understanding w/ things they couldn't control, but when your technician quits on the job, it says another thing about the service dept as a whole. Not only poor customer service, but poor management of the department as a whole. It's very sad to have such a great purchasing experience, but when the service doesn't follow, it ruins everything! We bought an RV from them and once done, they have dropped the ball in every way. Would Not recommend them at all. If you buy an RV anywhere make sure you do more research than we did on the Dealer and the Manufacturers and stress service and communication is your number one. Lots of stress and stuff breaks on RVs while you are learning. Service doesn't call back... Nor the sales rep, from the sales manager who had us for like 15 min and made money and ran. The finance manager was best of group but now that it's over he doesn't help either getting the service folks to answer... Their parts guy is great however! Good economy makes customer service really bad at times and RVs included. Buyer beware. read more

Update: After 14 months, we finally got our coach back, but guess what..it's going back to a real shop. Unacceptable workmanship, service..you name it. Oddly after 14 months (we filed a Better Business Bureau complaint). One week later, we get the call ...come and get it. They threw everything together. On the trip back to CA. Electrical issues, things falling off the coach (their new wiring and gluing stuff on. Our list is endless. The VP states it's a 15 yr. coach..Obviously he doesn't understand or know travel supreme...it was in deplorable condition. Our travel supreme is a high end coach until it went to Dennis Dillon RV in Boise Idaho. Check out my photos of their wonderful job they did. I've ton tons of videos taken when we finally got her back. Where's our "Select" and "Travel Supreme" emblems?? They have no regard for anybody else's property. Salesman was very helpful when we purchased the RV. On the drive home the kitchen drawers came open and the slide on the drawer was broken. We called for repair and was told they would keep the trailer for 30 days. Huh? Couldn't do that as we were planning a trip, hence the reason we bought an RV. Husband repaired it and we went for our first trip. When we returned home and went to dump the black water, there was a leak when you use the flush system. Called and made an appointment for repair. Bring it in. Leave it two weeks to even look at it. Really disappointed in this dealer Will not recommend. read more

We put down a $5000 deposit only to learn the next day that we could get the same RV sooner and closer. Even though we'd put down the deposit, Kevin negotiated with his manager to get us out of that commitment and refund the deposit. What a relief! read more

I worked with chris, Jeff, and Yoder to buy a new sled. Living out of state I was a bit wary of traveling 500 miles to pick up my new toy. But DD had the best prices so I sent it. 10/10 would recommend working with all 3 guys at the dealership. This is an update to my last post about Dennis Dillon RV. The sales manager agreed to pay for me to get the TVs repaired. I just needed to get someone to fix it and they would reimburse me. As soon as I made contact with them they stopped communicating! This just reinforces my total negative experience with this dealer. My rig had to go to the Fleetwood service center for all of the issues I found with this rig. They said it would take about a month. It was actually there about 6 days short of 3 months. All for repairs that should have been repaired before delivery. My advice is Run don't walk from this dealer. They are a complete scam! read more

We took our travel trailer to them to have several issues dealt with one of which was the furnace. It would only blow cold air. They blew it out or basically cleaned out the dust and dirt. After we picked up our trailer and got settled in at the rv park the furnace worked fine for about an hour then nothing but cold air. Mind u it's December so cold nights so I froze all night long. Next morning had a mobile guy come out and replace the sales switch for $200 read more

I've been going to Dennis Dillon for repairs for years. I do not leave reviews regularly. But I have noticed service continues to decline with each visit. The service department is unprofessional, the service writers to not communicate the agreed on price, so when you show up to pick up whatever you're having worked on, expect it to be more than what was originally agreed on. There were tools left in my RV, it came back to us with a broken stair system. I could go on about my experience and the lack of professionalism, but there isn't a need. I would merely encourage shopping elsewhere and find a company that does a better job that Dennis Dillon. read more

Went to this place with my boyfriend this afternoon and was very disappointed, although they had a great selection their costumer service is horrendous! We walked around for quite a bit looking at different ATV's with the intent of buying two, we went inside and walked around and nobody asked if we needed help or if we were being helped, one guy was even sitting there on his phone. Went to look at a few RVs today. The sales weenie not only didn't know much about the products, he claimed to be their top salesman and was the top salesman for a particular brand in 48 states. What he was, was a liar and a bad one at that. First and last visit for us. And the facility is an absolute mess. Worst company ever! The service side is even worse. When we bought our rv they tried giving us a completely different rv at pickup that was cheaper than the one we purchased. We took it in for our warranty work to be done and they are complete liars. 2 weeks turned into 2 months and not everything was done.. dan and beau fed us a bunch of crap now won't even call us back to get the rest of our warranty work done. It does pay to read all reviews as part of one's research about a company. But then you need to weigh those pros and cons against the other companies you are looking at. After several years of looking at the once many RV Sales Centers in the valley we decided to give Dennis Dillon a try. We met with Dennis Roybal and found him to be a consummate professional. He listened to us (especially to me ), and in just a short 'walk' across the sales lot, he seemed to know just what we wanted. We appreciated the breakdown of what sort of RV would be best for us based on the needs we expressed. It was very evident that he wasn't after a sale based on any set 'quotas,' but more a sale that involved us 100%. Granted, we switched the type of RV we wanted, but I knew just what to look for because of all the information and tips he shared with us. We took a lot of his time asking questions, changing what we wanted versus' needed. Yet my husband and I never felt rushed through trailers nor did we feel we lost his interest in helping us. Once we found exactly what we wanted (see pictures) the process moved pretty fast. We talked with Mike (Parts?) and decided what we wanted and/or needed added to the trailer. He too took his time answering all questions and explaining each item. The trailer had just come in and needed to be cleaned etc. so we set up a date and time to take possession. When we arrived the trailer was ready to go...cleaned inside and out with all new products etc. added. I forget the name of the man who did our walk thru. He was with the Service Department and he too did a great job taking us through each aspect of the trailer, inside and out. Next we went to see Marnie(sp?) in Finance. It happened that she and my husband had worked together at Micron many moons ago. So she spent a lot of time just catching up and chatting about camping etc. What I was impressed with was her ability to chat and still get her work done, papers signed etc. So, we finished everything and headed home. We were very impressed with all who helped us as well as the friendliness of others working there. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience. PS We had an issue come up with one of the slides. We have it with the Service Department now but I will wait to review them once everything is fixed. read more

Three months ago we stopped and purchased fifth wheel. Dealership did everything they could to make sale, praising their service to high heaven, but, it was just opposite, techs need lot more training!, after purchase, service is very unsatisfactory, service management must of done lown service before this job, most dont have clue. When you walk through the door you are nonchalantly acknowledged with no eagerness to inquire as to why you walked in the door.

We were scheduled to pickup our new trailer 10/18/13 - The dealership and our sales rep knew we were coming for over a week. We drove 800 miles from Denver to complete the transaction as long as it passed our inspection. Buyer Beware. We were schedule for a 1 o'clock appt. and arrived a little early to do our walk through. We were told it would be plugged in, water in the tanks to test, and we could run through everything to make sure it worked before we signed the papers. The trailer had not even been inspected prior to our arrival. It was dirty and not prepped as originally promised. We noticed several cosmetic issues in the cabinets (large scratch in the dinette drawer, trim issues, and rear entry door wasn't even flush. The exterior had multiple scratches in the sidewalls and and scraped striping. For a New Trailer 2014, it looked like it had been used and returned. We did a month's worth of research on Outdoor's RV and felt this was the right trailer. There was a lot the dealership DID NOT prior to our arrival. Outdoor's RV should seriously consider who they want representing them and their products. After telling our salesman we were not going to move forward all we got was the cold shoulder. If he really wanted to make the sale and "believed" in the product he sells, I would expect more and would have bent over backwards to make sure this was exceeding his customer's expectations. Lesson Learned. Even Outdoors RV's Sales Manager Troy Johnson for this dealership, told us during our research not to purchase if it doesn't pass our inspection and he wanted any feedback, positive or negative. Do you homework. It is well worth your time and effort. Be knowledgable about the product you are searching for. read more

I usually would not write a review for just buying a $20 part but I was blown away at how poorly I was treated by Susan in the parts department. While I waited for her to finish our transaction she took three phone calls (two other counter people there that could have taken calls) one customer actually hung up on due to her rudeness. I have had nothing but problems with my 2017 Dodge Simplicity Van since I purchased it last summer... the service department advisor, Dan, won't give you the common courtesy of a returned phone call! My requests for a date when it will be fixed are met only with excuses..."The tech hurt his knee and is so far behind." "All the techs that work on your type of RV's are on vacation." Do not buy from these guys. Picked up my trailer and took it out the next day. Noticed quite a few items that were not working correctly. Called them as soon as I returned....then left message after message after message after message after message....NEVER received a call back. Finally called my sales guy....and the guy the parts guy that sold us the hitch in the parts department. Neither of them could get anyone from the service department to talk to me or call me back. Also, do not believe them if they tell you that the purchase of solar can be written off on your taxes-that only applies if you live in the rv. Absolutely terrible. (love my rv, though) read more

Let me start by saying I have never been here. I had an emergency. My mom was trapped in an RV. I had called all over the US (I live in SoCal) to find anyone that would help.
