I love Denny's but this was probably the worst service I've experienced in a Denny's restaurant to date. Just take a look at my Denny's Buena Park review. I praised their service. We had a late lunch at about 4:00 pm. When we stopped into the restaurant, we were greeted by a very cheerful young lady who walked us to our table, presented us with our menu's and asked us if we wanted anything to drink. Up to this point, things were fine until a male server, (Angel) came to assist us. I ordered the Cali Club sandwich and a chocolate shake. He asked if I wanted french fries and I said yes. I asked if they still had waffle fries and he bluntly replied, NO! He took the order from the other person in my party and walked away. The order took approximately 30 minutes to complete. There were only two other tables of patrons who were already eating in the entire restaurant, so I'm not sure why it took so long to prepare our food. Angel made my chocolate shake and brought it back to the table before the food arrived. Normally at all other Denny's restaurants the shake comes in a glass along with some extra shake in the blender cup. When he brought the shake, there was a little sip left in the blender cup. I'm still not sure why he brought the blender cup to our table since there was such a small amount left. The shake was not up to the normal Denny's standard. I usually get almost one and a half glasses of shake when it's prepared properly. It was disappointing. After bringing our food, Angel walked past our table numerous times and not once checked to see if everything was good or if we needed anything else. I had to get up from my table to retrieve a bottle of ketchup and then later after finishing our meal, had to ask Angel to bring a "to-go" box and our bill because we were waiting to leave Again, this was all during a lunch service of only three tables. Angel, please remember that all customers are important and should be treated as such. We just want to be acknowledged. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service and satisfaction drove me to look elsewhere and I was able to find Coco's Restaurant and Bakery down the street.

Still 5! Super service. And you cannot be at the prices and food right next to Disneyland. Their 55+ menu is crazy great too. My salmon was perfect with roasted veggies and a hearty rice medley.beer for 5$. Perfect way to end day.

Came here for a final breakfast before leaving, and just a couple of days after my last review. The breakfast was on a voucher from the Best Western Pavilions next door, and although the last visit was good, this one was "more gooderer"! (Keep all grammar policing to yourself - I like saying that! ) I arrived about 9:30 - late sleep in - and was quickly shown a table by the host, Jorge, and was just as quickly greeted by my server, Ricardo, who took my beverage order while I perused the menu - I was planning to get a little something in addition to the breakfast. When he returned I was ready, and I ordered 2 of the 2 eggs (scrambled) and the hash browns, and added a fruit bowl off the menu as well as an iced tea. The food came quickly, the eggs still hot. The reason this visit is more gooderer is because the eggs this time were moist, like I like them! Not everybody will and that's okay, but they were perfect for me! The fruit bowl was yummy, with bananas, red grapes (and 3 seeds!) and cantaloupe, not too sweet but good. The service from Ricardo was exemplary, and I appreciate his working with me on the menu items - I am glad to see consistently great service here, no matter who I have had so far, from hosts to servers. Looking forward to my next visit.

We got a free voucher for Dennys while staying at the Best Western behind it. We found out that we could only pick from several items. I picked the pancakes, oatmeal, and bacon. Pancakes were good and filling but oatmeal came out cold and watery. It was disgusting. Bacon was okay. I guess you can't complain about free. The waitress was amazing though. She was fast and very nice.

The Denny's close to Disneyland. They even sell a good plethora of Disneyland Merch in here. Came here the other day during COVID times. Dining is outside and they did a good job serving us. I do think they hike up the price here for being close to Disneyland? My friend got an All American Slam and it was $12. The portions looked small!!! The bathrooms were clean (which is always telling of a facility) and I felt pretty safe here. Coffee was expensive but I had one anyway!

Customer service and atmosphere was great but food was not. Chocolate shake was slightly thicker than water and so was the ranch .

What other better place to celebrate our friend reunion at a place called "Reunion"? ;)…read more We were looking for a good brunch place to try out and found this place near Corona. Parking: I had no problem finding parking spot as the lot is huge and shared with many other businesses. Interior: We were seated right away without any wait time as we arrived when they just opened. We were seated in a dark area of the restaurant (think bar vibe) so I was a little not sure at first. Most brunch places I went to were always filled with sunlight and bright colorful interiors. This place embraced a classic, quiet feel, something like a Steak House would have. Service: Our server's name was Susan I believe, who was nice and attentive through the whole meal, despite the crowd slowly built up and filled the restaurant. She never failed to check back on us, not just once but twice and refilled our water. She probably isn't as familiar with the brunch menu favorites but seem to know more about the Main menu. The General Manager came out and greeted us because most of their customers are regulars and it's uncommon to have first timers like us visiting. This nice hospitality made us feel very warmly welcomed and impressed. Food: I couldn't decide whether to go with the Slow braised beef on the brunch menu (braised beef benedict) or the main menu but ended up going with the Main menu to get a good portion size. It was a perfect choice because the beef is just amazing. It was cooked to a soft perfection, well seasoned, the roasted vegetable was also cooked just right and not super raw/ crunchy like other places. Then the star of the show arrived - the butter cake. As Susan suggested, this is their most popular dessert and I can see why. The butter cake comes piping hot with the ice cream on top. There's a nice sugar crunchy feel near the bottom of the cake. It's so delicious that I want to come back just to eat this cake. We had a great time overall and would love to come back.

It has this dark but classy aesthetic and I was not prepared for that (in a good way). This restaurant has been here for about 2 years with different ownership and menu so I was excited to see what they had to offer. Hugo helped us with our order and he was very friendly and professional. We went ahead and ordered the ahi tuna taco, pork belly bao, garlic fries, the margharita pizza, the yuzu lobster pasta, and for drinks I got the virgin burning thyme. My friend got that and other drinks as well. Ahi tuna taco - 5/5 probably the best food item for the evening. The tuna was fresh, perfect amount of kick in its sauce, and the outter shell was perfectly crunchy. I think them replacing the shell with wonton was exceptional with the texture. Every bite was extremely satisfying. Pork Belly bao - 4/5 everything was delicious. The bow itself is bouncy and moist. There wasn't anything special about the sauce inside with the pork belly, but I would definitely give it a try at least once. A great portion with your friends or family as an appetizer. Garlic fries - 3/5 It was a bit underwhelming, but nothing horrible. I could not taste the garlic at all, but the fries itself was cooked to perfection with the outer being pretty crispy and inside being soft. Margharita pizza - 4/5 I really like the crust and the breading of this pizza. It was crispy and the pepperoni was cooked to perfection. I really like the small pepperoni because it gives an immense amount of flavor in each bite. The cheese and the tomato sauce was fine, but nothing special. Yuzu lobster pasta - 4/5 I wish I was able to taste more of the Yuzu since that's in the name of the dish, but I could not. If it was just called the lobster pasta I would say it's amazing. The tomatoes were perfect to lighten the entire dish with the heavy sauce and the pasta. The lobster was cooked fine. Other than that it was fine, but I would say either enhance the Yuzu flavor or remove it in the name of the dish. Burning thyme - 4.5/5 I really like the acid and the balance of sweetness and sour in this drink. Usually, I get skeptical when I make an alcoholic drink version because the bartender tends to over sweeten the drink, but this was not the case, and I enjoyed it a lot with our food.

We were not planning on getting cocktails but they ended up sounding so good. I got the Rhubarb Rendezvous and Steven got - I think it was called Now You See Me. Both delicious. We then opted for apps. Steven had the wedge salad and I got the corn and roasted peppers bisque. Absolutely delicious. Unfortunately my soup was on their main rotating menu that I was told changes every two to three weeks. Now you see me, now you don't I guess? The main menu changes also, but less frequently. I was very tempted to try the lamb on the short farm menu, but since I hadn't seen it on their site, I went in planning to get halibut, and I did. It was also delicious but I'm sure the lamb would have been too. Steven got the filet and what do you know? A restaurant that cooked it the way he wanted the first time. We followed our meal with their Milky Way dessert which was unique and their take on a milky way bar, and delicious. Zero complaints about our food and drinks. Service was top notch!! We were checked on constantly, our waters never made it to even half empty, and there was constant staff helping take the plates and bringing the food as well. Great experience!

I booked an afternoon reservation for a large party to celebrate my wife's birthday. I paid the required $500 deposit and committed to a minimum spend totaling a couple of thousand dollars for the dinner. When we arrived, we were refused service because my 12-year-old daughter was wearing leggings and was not dressed in what they considered "business attire." How ridiculous is that? According to the manager, "A 12-year-old is a teen and should know how to dress." Rather than showing any flexibility, common sense, or basic hospitality, they chose to turn away an entire birthday celebration over a child's outfit. There were numerous adults in both the bar area and the saloon wearing flip-flops, jean shorts, and other very casual attire. This establishment tries to present itself as a professional, upscale venue, yet several grown women on the staff were huddling together, whispering, staring, and giving dirty looks to a child, making her feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. Their behavior was far more inappropriate than anything she was wearing. The host staff, manager, and ownership should be ashamed of how this situation was handled. There was a complete lack of hospitality, professionalism, and basic courtesy. Fortunately, we ended up going down the road to The White House Restaurant, where we were welcomed with smiling faces and received outstanding service. The White House restaurant turned what could have been a ruined celebration into a wonderful experience. If you're considering this restaurant for a special event or family gathering, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. There are plenty of better alternatives that know how to treat their guests with respect.

The tasting featured a great lineup of green and yellow Chartreuse paired with small bites. It concluded with a complementary Chartreuse-based cocktail from one of five recipes. Brand ambassador Taylor guided the event and began by telling us about the unique history of Chartreuse. The tasting started out with a small spoonful of Vegetal Elixir Chartreuse to warm up the palate. This is the base spirit of both green and yellow Chartreuse and clocks in at 138 proof. It was surprisingly not harsh, but immediately kicked my salivary glands into overdrive. I didn't even know that vintages of Chartreuse was a thing, but Taylor walked us through tasting three different vintages of both yellow and green Chartreuse, and it was surprising how different they were. The lineup concluded with more rare varietals of the green elixir 1605 and yellow cuvee. Great job, thanks Taylor! Chef Kling presented each small bite which included a crispy Icelandic cod, a roasted beet crostino, and a lamb slider. All of them had a five star list of ingredients and were delicious. Strong Water is known for their excellent cocktails, but their food is also great. For my cocktail at the end of the event, I had the Bar Flower (Green Chartreuse, Crème de Cacao, Pineapple, Lime). This was so good, with the herbal and chocolate flavors perfectly balanced. It was served with a flaming lime half. This was such a great event! Chartreuse retails for around $100 a bottle, and the higher-end varieties cost even more. At just $45 per person, this event was an amazing bargain. Strong Water frequently hosts great events, so keep an eye on their social media for upcoming dates. I really love Chartreuse, so I went back a few days later on the last day of Chartreuse week to try a few of the other limited time cocktails. I started out with their twist on a Grasshopper (Chartreuse, Crème de Menthe, Chili Liqueur, Crème de Cacao, Cream, Cane, $22). This was a great classic Grasshopper, but the Chartreuse added a herbal complexity, and there is a dash of heat on the finish from the chili liqueur. Next I had the Flare Gun (Yellow Chartreuse, Overproof Rum, Italian Bitter, Lime, Cane, $20). The yellow Chartreuse definitely comes through, but it's softer and has a light sweetness, unlike the green variety. Even though it contains overproof rum, it is perfectly balanced and not boozy at all. I usually don't like bitter drinks, but the bitterness was at a perfect light level. I finished off with the Tales from the Black Lagoon which is my favorite drink here, and it's also a favorite of many of the bartenders. All three cocktails were a home run. Chartreuse is an expensive spirit, so those drinks cost a little more than average. Shout out to Karen, Joey, Edgar, Jordan, and Ying for excellent hospitality, as always. Strong Water is our favorite place. We can't wait to go back!
