I'll keep it short and bitter. Hostess Olivia was absolutely very rude, while I understand they were a little busy the way you talk to a customer is still very important. When asked "is my order ready yet?" all she needed to say was "We are a little busy right now so it might take a little longer to get it out" instead she very rudely exclaimed "well I gotta get it together still, can you not see that we are busy?". And then to put the cherry on top as I'm complaining about her to the manager she finished putting our order together and brings it out, well I get home and go to hand out food and we're missing an ENTIRE MEAL! Pretty sad when a truck driver wants a meal and is limited on where to eat, and you get lousy service! Felt rushed. Ordered, got my salad, and within 3 minutes my food was brought to my table, and 30 seconds later my bill...wtf! Some might say that's good. Great place for a midnight pancake or ice cream sundae run. also good for the quality time breakfast before the game on Saturdays. relaxed atmosphere. they have a tv at the counter which comes in handy when there is a big game on. we were greatful during march madness when we couldn't make it home on time. i'm not fond of some of the new things they come up with. Dennys doesn't really do well with the non diner food they put on the menu. We could have had better food at the gas station attached to this Denny's. The two businesses are not related, however. We had 2 burgers with fries. Both of our burgers were burnt, cold, hard buns, limp, greasy bacon. Fries were decent but we were barely given a handful. We asked and were told that was the portion size. My husband and I are truck drivers. We stopped by the flying j to grab a few items we needed and our late dinner to-go from Denny's, that's also inside The Flying J.. Pressed for time due to our scheduled delivery, we payed for our items at flying j while Denny's made our to-go orders. Grabbed our meals to-go from Denny's, and left in our semi truck. Well I start to cut up the chicken (ordered the chicken loaded potato skillet) and I found there a mushroom. WHICH I AM ALLERGIC TO!!!!!!!!!! THE MEAL DOES NOT COME WITH MUSHROOMS AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!! There was enough mushrooms in the entrée that COULD HAVE LANDED ME INTO THE HOSPITAL!!!! My husband called the Denny's. Explained that we had just left there with our to-go orders. And found mushrooms in my meal! Told the night manager how I am ALLERGIC! She couldn't explain why the cook put them in my meal. And offered for us to come back and she would personally make sure my meal was made the right way! We had already left and several miles away! No we was not going to turn around and back track! We are truckers that have a very tight schedule to keep!! So the manager put our information down in the computer, that we have a free meal coupon next time we are threw there again..... I find it very disheartening that a woman was forced to feed her infant in her car when it's 14 degrees outside because your manager decided to ask her to leave. Shame on you! She was probably mortified and that is so unfair. If her baby was hungry, then she should be fed, PERIOD. It is illegal and discrimination to harass a breastfeeding mother for feeding her child. I hope this is the right location. It is connected to Flying J gas station and travel center. We visited on a Saturday night. We didn't waiting to be seated, the waitress came right away, we were not ready and she came back few more times. Our food came out quickly, right and delicious for a Denny's meal. We ordered a burger, prime rib salad, broccoli soup and appetizer sampler. They were out of chicken tenders, but mozzarella sticks were good. Our water glasses were refilled promptly. This place is either mediocre or terrible depending on the cook that's working. It's one of the only sit down restaurants in this area of town so I go here frequently. This time it was insanely bad. So bad. Took over 45 minutes to get our food. There were only 7 tables full of people and every single table was waiting on their food. When the food came it was luke warm. The hash browns were burnt and soaked with grease. The sausage was burnt and tasted like chemicals. The bacon tasted like eating fried crickets-- no taste and too crispy. The "specialty" chocolate banana pancakes usually fill up the whole plate. This time they were so small I ate the whole thing in 4 bites. The waitress messed up on the drinks twice. When we asked to speak to the manager, the waitress said the manager was the cook for the day... hmmm. Overall worst experience at this Denny's. It used to be good. My wife and I decided to go to Denny's after voting. Our Waitress was Michelle and she was perfect in every way! I had the Sante Fe skillet and it was steaming hot and delicious. The hashbrowns were perfect and so were the eggs. My wife had the banana pancakes with salted caramel sauce and could only eat half of it. It was a large yummy portion. After eating all we could, we took the rest home. Michelle made the visit very pleasant! We will be back soon! read more

Denny's menu is decent but i'd like to see more healthier options and better quality food. As a truck driver I'm forced to eat this crap because there isn't much to choose from on the road. This place took 30 minutes to bring me my ultimate skillet and 45 minutes for my toast which I had to ask for 3 times. They had plenty of servers on the floor one even had time to go outside for a smoke. I think the manager isn't serious enough and the waitress I had was forgetful to say the least. read more

Wish I would have read the reviews before stopping here, but it was across from our hotel and we were hungry. Waited 10 minutes for a table, another 5 for a drink order. I ordered a milkshake and a water, never got the water. My husband ordered a strawberry lemonade with "free refills". She took his cup right before our food came out to refill it and never came back with it. She asked us at the end if we wanted one to go. We grabbed a to-go order after checking in to a hotel across the street. The young man who took my order was polite and helpful. The order took about 15 minutes and was correct. We got kids Mac & Cheese, 2 different veggie skillets and some fruit for the kids. Food was relatively fresh and tasty. Food was good and affordable but I had been working for 12 hours and driving 10 of that. I got to the truck stop and went to eat at the Denny's. Walked in the door and manager was checking customers out at the register. One of the servers asked if I wanted a table or booth and I said didn't matter. They sat me at a booth with a menu. Place was fairly busy so I looked over the menu. I had noticed one table check out and the table was cleaned. Someone else sat at that table and after a couple of minutes were waited on. I had still not been asked what I wanted to drink or what I wanted to eat. Sat there a couple of more minutes and the manager and a server were at the register talking with no customers there. I got up and walked over and asked, "How long do I have to sit at a table before being waited on." Manager jumped and said do you have a menu and I told him I did and a table but that was it. For a Denny's, I tend to think of this one as one of the better ones I have ever been in. Even though it sometimes seems as if the staff was ever changing, the food managed to stay good enough. My favorite being the cheese fries with a side of ranch sauce and a chipotle chicken wrap. Before this place because Denny's it was a mangy looking buffet joint. Ugh, this was not a good experience, and now looking at the other reviews, it doesn't appear to be a one time thing. This Denny's is located in a Flying J Truckstop. We stopped in to grab a quick lunch, and well it sure wasn't. There were quite a few people waiting for to-go orders when we walked in, which was greatly confusing the hostess. My daughter and I stepped past everyone into the seating area and eventually someone asked to help us. Oops, turns out there were a whole bunch of other people waiting to be seated who were equally being ignored. So, seat them first as they were here first, and then we were seated. Restaurant is about 1/2 full at this point. Drink orders taken and delivered to the table in to go cups since there don't have any glasses clean. Place order for pancakes for my daughter and a breakfast sandwich for myself. Time now begins to standstill...drinks have now run out...no one checks on us...50 minutes later my sandwich and my daughters pancakes arrive. They were hot and pretty tasty, but come on people, almost an hour to make pancakes and a sandwich?!?!? Pretty frustrating when you wanted a quick bite to eat so you can continue to make good time on your road trip. I hopefully will never be back to try this place out again. read more

Typical Denny's. Nothing different than any other. Had to ask for more coffee. Not big on keeping your cup full. Food was ok. The one thing that I did not like, when we left after breakfast and went to pay our bill, the person who took our card asked if we would like to put a tip on the bill. We always leave cash at the table. I don't like this at all. Will be one of the reasons not to go back. If I wanted to put a tip on it I would of written it in. It happened twice and truthfully I can't tell you if it was the same waitress or not. This was the first Denny's I have ever been to, so don't know if this is common practice for them or not. The one time when we payed cash nothing was said. Just kind of like asking for a tip. If you do your job I will tip. I always over tip because I know how hard it is to waitress. read more
