Placed an online order, my husband went to the restaurant to get it, and they not only gave him the wrong order, but charged is again for the order! When I called the store, the manager got an attitude with me and then hung up on me. DONT order delivery from this location. I ended up paying a tip on top of the delivery fee to have an order delivered that costed approx $60.00, there was an entire order missing , the milkshakes were melted , a burger had jalapenos when it wasnt supposed to- basically the order was all messed up. PLUS the delivery driver never showed up to grab/bring me my order and I never received a call saying this. I figured it out after waiting an hour and a half for the delivery to show up. Once getting home from walking to pick up my order, everything was cold or incorrect. Very disappointing. I contacted the manager and they didn't even offer to replace or refund the order. NEVER coming here again. This is the 4th time in a month and a half that I've ordered throught their app and an order was messed up and they wouldn't fix the order or even offer an apology. read more

Well, you can tell when the plate looks great when you dive in and forget to take a Yelp Picture! I ordered the Lumberjack Breakfast but subbed the reg Bacon for the Seasonal Honey Jalepeno Bacon. WOW! That's some great Bacon! I had honey on my pancakes which was delish n I felt a healthier option. My bf had the Ultimate Omelet & was very happy! The best part was our server Hailey. She made excellent suggestions and looked out for us in her suggestions of what to add n what to sub for our best value. She is one of the best Servers we've ever had. I placed a large breakfast order for pick up. I am 8 months pregnant, with two kids in the car so I sent my mom in to grab the order. We get home and are missing an item. Annoying but no problem. So I call and asked to talk to a manager to just get refunded for the missing item. The manager kept calling me sweetheart and words like that which was really irritating and only asks for my name and phone number and says her general manager will be in the next day to refund me. I knew once she said that I was never going to get refunded for THEIR mistake because what kind of manager can't figure out how to do a refund... She didn't ask for my order number or anything. I was the one that asked her if she needed it. It is not a good feeling to pay for something you never received and then to have management lie to you. I will go through my credit card company to get my money back but I wanted to warn others to double check your order because they will not make it right. This used to be one of my favorite places to stop by. Today was the worst experience EVER here. I ordered pulled pork, well i got the crusty ends, cold, and it was tough. Like yesterday's meat. Then the hot barbeque sauce was cold. It should be ready when they open. Thought it might cover the awfulness of the poor pork, but cold, NOT. Don't think we'll be stopping but here any time soon. I've only gone to dennys once before visiting this time and this sealed the deal that I'll never go again. I ordered a ($10) club sandwich that we picked up from the restaurant. While the chicken strips my partner got were fine and dandy, the ($10!!!!!) sandwich that I got tasted very off from the first bite. I had my partner try a bite and he immediately spat it out. Not only had they put WAY too much mayonnaise, it was also VERY obviously SPOILED! My partner called the next day (because they were closed by the time we ate) and they didn't pick up but he left a voicemail. Guess what happened after that? Absolutely no response. I can't believe that I couldn't even get a refund for a meal I could not eat and could've made me sick. I have eaten here twice, and both times the service was terrible, along with the food. The first time we had breakfast there with two friends. The food was either under cooked, or else it was dang near burnt. The second time I took our daughter and her friend there. A tweaker was passed out at the table across from us, and our waitress never came to refill our drinks. We literally saw her twice - once to take the order and once to drop it off. A bus girl gave us the drinks. The steaks were over cooked, the fries almost burnt and nothing could make those nachos taste better! I have loved Denny's all of my life and never had an experience quite like this. I would definitely think twice before going to the Bonney Lake Denny's. On September 1, 2019, my Mother-in-law brought home some Denny's takeout for breakfast to surprise us. My seven year old son and I are the only ones who had two separate batches of pancakes. As I was eating the pancakes, I took notice that one of the bites I had was crunchy. I didn't think much of it at first. (Thought it was a crunchy part of the pancake that had to do with the griddle.) After a couple more bites, I felt something else that seemed wrong with the pancake. I immediately had spit out the bite to investigate. It was a piece of glass. I was scared at that point and told my son to stop eating. Of course at this point he had already eaten about 90% of his pancakes. My fiancé and I searched through the rest of the two batches of pancakes and saw that there was glass imbedded throughout. I asked my son if his pancakes were crunchy and he said that they were. I made my son and I drink a large glass of water. I had my fiancé call the store in order to tell them what was going on right away so that no other patrons would go through the same thing and so we could get refunded. The manager he spoke with said, "It must have been something from your house. It couldn't have been our location and we're sorry but the only way we can refund you is if you give us the pancakes." (We ate the pancakes straight from the platters that it was packed in.) Not very apologetic at all. We packed up everyone and headed to the restaurant before heading to the hospital to get checked out. When we got there, they were still refusing a refund until the pancakes were to be handed over. When showing the manager, Jennifer the pancakes, she acknowledged after looking through the pancakes. (We kept the pancakes.) Finally got a refund. Went to the E.R. and received X-rays and monitoring. Thankfully, him and I are okay. However, this is the extremely disheartening situation. After speaking with Denny's Corp and the area manager, I was told to speak with Steve Kim the franchise owner to at least get help for my medical expenses covered for the incident. After many phone calls, he told me to get in touch with his insurance handlers at Liberty Mutual. After two months of many phone calls and the run around of waiting for them to investigate and not getting back to me, they denied my claim stating that they weren't liable. Called Steve Kim and he said there was nothing he could do. In the beginning when this happened, the area manager and franchise owner made it seem like I would at least be helped out with the expenses of the hospital bills. Nope. On my own. Thanks, Denny's! It's just really sad because this is a place that myself and my son loved to go to every now and then as a treat for his entire life and mine. We're definitely put off of pancakes and we certainly have no respect for the company. They DO NOT care about their standards and they cleary do not care for their customers. read more

Service was good, food is about as good as you'll get for scrambled eggs and bacon! Place was clean and well kept up. Went in one morning craving a cinnamon roll and coffee. Found out they didn't offer them! A so-called American diner that doesn't serve cinnamon rolls??? Not very traditional. Plenty of unappealing breakfast pancakes that belong at IHOP....but no cinnamon rolls. Weird. Lost my craving and left after looking at the menu. read more

I'm the first to admit I'm a picky eater and i like things cooked a certain way. We went in at a slow time not a busy time. When ordering we asked for over medium eggs and crispy hash browns. Crispy fries with a burger. Fries came limp and greasy hash browns only cooked on one side and the over medium eggs had runny whites. They send the manager out to tell us things were cooked on a timer and they can't cook them longer. How in the world did they cook things before timers were invented. so my husband said "so you can order things a certain way and you'll cook it your way instead" she said yes. Bonney lake Dennys I sugest you get the equipment they use at the South Hill Dennys they always cook our food the way we ask. Finally walked out when the waitress was taking his order. Won't say I won't go back, but it will be one hell of a long time before I do. This is the only Denny's we go to for a couple of reasons: 1) Great staff 2) Accomodate gluten free on a wide variety of items (and take it seriously) 3) Simple American fair that is consistent. 4) Clean, clean, clean So awesome. Had a server a couple of weeks ago have them remake my food because he felt they burnt my burger. I didn't see it but felt really well taken care of. Had another have redo my food once because someone had put it on a bun then tried to take the bun off and make her serve it to me. These types of instances make it longer to get food, but are the reason we keep going back. I've been to other higher price food service chains that didn't care this much. read more

We went the other night and the service was still subpar. I did my best to keep a positive attitude after hearing all the horrid reviews. I can say our food was fine. My pancakes were a little overdone but who cares. We asked to have our drinks when our meal came and we had to remind our waitress. Then she came back at the end of our meal with our drinks. It's dennys...the food is OK not bad not great. What took this place down a notch for me was the temperature. It was freezing cold in the restaurant. To the point that my food was cold within 5 minutes of being put in front of me. I didn't have time to even finish my food before it was cold. My 6 year old even said "mom my eggs are cold" after about 5 minutes and I know they weren't put on the table that way because I could see steam coming from them. If they turned the heat up to just a little over 65 the place would have gotten another star but sitting in 50 degree restaurant was horrible read more

The food isn't bad BUT why! can't they toast toast! Same with Ihop and other places that serve breakfast. Warm bread with fake butter slopped on one side is NOT toast! We sent it back and the waiter told us he would ask the cook to run it thru the conveyer belt toaster twice, came back looking exactly the same. "Toast" has some color, and a scratchy top, and is golden brown...you know, like mom used to make. Ugh! so frustrating to eat breakfast bread. read more

Shaina is our favorite server. She already knows our order when we come in, she's kind and gives fast service no matter how busy it is! The manager with the grey bob haircut doesn't even help shaina with customers that need to be cashed out at the register. Like isn't her job to ensure that the restraunt runs smoothly? I saw her come from the back chewing food while shaina was busting her butt! Doesn't sound like good management to me... maybe time for some more training? read more

We had lunch on the second day it was opened. It's very clean, open and well lite. We were met by the owner/ manager and quickly seated. Menus, drinks etc. we're quickly provided. We'd been there when it was another restaurant and notice how much it's been improved. Menu is standard Denny's. It was hot, food was fresh and well presented. The waitstaff made a big difference as they frequently checked with us. When clearing a table next to us a waitress dropped a cup. Immediately someone brought a bright safety cone and the manager appeared with dustpan and broom. Plus a good sense of humor. All in all very good and worth going again. read more
