My fiancé and I had a great breakfast here on a Sunday morning. We were seated quickly and our server was very friendly and helpful. We started off with coffees and I was actually blown away by how good they were. I was able to drink my black and I thought it tasted very smooth. For my meal, I opted for a veggie omelette, a side of fruit and an English muffin. My fiancé got the moons over my hammy with a side of hash browns and chocolate chip pancakes. Everything was delicious except for the hash browns. I'm not sure what happened with those, but they were stringy and flavorless. At least everything else was good! She did her best working every table in the dining room, the counter, and doordash orders etc, but we did have to wait awhile for our food. If I could do no stars I would. I complained last month about Hannah and nothing has been done since. I go in the restaurant to pick up a DoorDash order and she puts the order im picking up in front of me and I double check the order over to make sure everything was in there, and she came back over and said "that's not your order" and I said yes it is because I even showed her the same. She gives me the order back and when I was leaving she tried to argue with me and she gave me a whole attitude and told me to f*** off and I told her to loose the attitude. As a customer and a DoorDash driver, she shouldn't be doing this and working there anymore/working for the public period. But the way we were treated was horrendous. 2 out of the 9 of us were not eating, and the waitress was extremely rude about it. Went for desert on Valentines Day it was early evening. We sat and witnessed the manager go to a table that had a family with a crying child and yelled at them they had 2 minutes to shut the kid up. As he walked away he turned and said I don't care if the child has autism I hear it again I will kick you out. All you heard from people sitting around were gasps of did he just say that. The child has autism and is still a human being and should be treated as such. Those sitting around and heard such vile comment gave the family their names and numbers as witness to what just happened. We enjoyed great service from Susan, at Denny's tonight (5/12/23). Susan was cheerful, friendly, and attentive. She was watchful to ensure that we didn't run out of drinks, and to clear away dishes quickly after we were finished. She was very pleasant to talk with. IF I could give this place a zero I would. It was a truly impulsive decision. We were driving by, wanted pancakes and thought "why not." I don't think there are enough adjectives to describe just how bad everything was. From the smell when you walk in, to the terrible service, there is a reason this place has a reputation as the place people go when the bars close. You'd have to be intoxicated to ever want to consume anything from here. In spite of the terrible smell, we were seated. Greeted by a clearly pissed off waitress, we ordered coffee. I think the entire table and menu was cleaned with maple syrup (let's be honest, corn syrup) everything was sticky. At this point, we were laughing at the experience and we were already committed. Each of us had pancakes, hash browns and bacon. After a few bites I knew I could not eat any more. I'm not sure they cook things in lard and never having tasted lard, I would imagine that this is what it would taste like. Every single item was worse than the other. The table next to us had a steak, have mercy on that person, I can only imagine how bad THAT was. This location was spotless, the manager seated us and our waiter Colin came right over and took our drink order. He was attentive throughout the meal without being intrusive. My son choose a milkshake and breakfast for dinner. I ordered a patty melt and unsweet tea. All of or food was great. A little greasy but I wouldn't expect anything else from diner food. I hadn't been to a Denny's in over a decade, but today I was in the area and in the mood. And it was the right choice. I encountered none of the failings that other reviewers have mentioned. The place was clean (including the restroom). Service was attentive, courteous, and efficient. Coffee was tasty with unlimited refills, All-American Slam was everything I could have wished. Even tried the decadent Blueberry Pancake Puppies - slightly overcooked but quite toothsome. The "small" portion is quite generous; I took leftovers home. And you can't beat the prices. read more

Update 4/2019 What a difference in this location. My son wanted Denny's and it's been a tough day so I said ok. Brittney B was our server. I asked for chicken strips with my sons pancakes bc he has a beef and pork allergy. I told her if there was an upcharge I'd pay. Not only did they comp chicken fingers and gold fish for our son she let us to to make sure to say he had an allergy when we came in because they season the grill with bacon grease. She had everything put fresh and hot. They cleaned the entire grill (during dinner rush) and we really didn't have to wait. She cleared our table promptly and checked on us appropriately. The man who sat us was extremely sweet with our son. I have to change my org review to 5 starts because I was so pleased with our visit over all. I'm not sure if the new faces made the change or the new management but whatever the case we will be back. From walk in to walk out "Greeted" by the manager who never made eye contact, grabbed 2 menus, a kids menu and said "come over". He sat us at a table with 2 settings and walked away. The wifi doesn't work at this location. Our server came over with a smile and we ordered an appetizer. (The apps are for single servings now, not to be shared but the prices are still the same) A different girl brought it over with 2 plates, there's 3 of us. We had to get up and get an additional set of silverware and plate. Our food came out. Our coffee was so old 4 creams and sugar still had it looking like a cup of mud. The ice cream was freezer burned with a dime size of cold fudge. Really a dime size.
