Went on a Wednesday night. We stood around for a good 10 mins before anyone even noticed us and that was thankful to a couple who noticed us and pointed us out to the waitress. The waitress who ended up helping up was super nice. A group of ladies ended up being sat next to us and they were so loud, I don't mind people having a good time but when I can't even hear the person at my own table talking because they are loudly talking and laughing about some things that shouldn't be talked about in public it definitely wasn't a fun experience. What could improve? They can try serving you with clean, silverware, clean plates, clean glasses. Make sure your table's clean. There was holes all in the seat with the insulation coming out of the seat. The floors were filthy. The food was lousy and the price was ridiculous. I would not go back there. First things first, I love everything at Denny's and my Oven Baked Lasagna with Beer Battered Onion Rings and a Sprite was spot on, although quite hot as it's made to order and I guess I didn't on it long enough- lol. So for my food I'd say 5 stars but my mom was with me as well, she ordered the thanksgiving plate of Turkey, stuffing, gravy & Cranberry Sauce. The waitress brought my mom a plate with I forget what all on it but no stuffing and no cranberry sauce. My mom asked where they were and the waitress said they were out, but the bill didn't reflect anything and my mom said if she had known that beforehand she would've ordered something else but the waitress didn't let her know beforehand. The waitress came by a couple of minutes later with two slices of pumpkin pie with whipped cream for myself and mom, and asked if that was enough. It was- lol. The purpose of this review is to recognize the exemplary customer service that we received by our waitress. Her name was KrisAnna and she works at the Denny's at Show Low, Arizona. I had brunch on April 19 with my three granddaughters, ages 2, 4, and 9. Right off, Krisanna was very hospitable and offered several suggestions about items on the menu that provided the best value. She checked in on us several times, almost more than normal, and inquired about the children each time. She interacted and engaged to the extent that it almost seemed like she was a member of our own family. Krisanna is truly genuine and fostered a family atmosphere. She treated us with personalized care and made us feel very welcomed. My granddaughters and I appreciated her family-oriented customer service. read more

The staff were overwhelmingly pompous although some were seemingly on break, it surpassed 30 minutes. Due to the low number of workers this caused it took around 35 minutes to get our food all sorted out. read more

You have to remember, this is a Denny's. With that being said, it is the best Denny's experience I've ever had. The food was better than I expected it to be, for food at Denny's. But to be fair to the restaurants in the surrounding areas, I cannot review this Denny's a 5/5. I recommend salting your fries and sprinkling some pepper on them, just FYI. If you do get a double burger, prepare yourself for a mouthful of meat. It's one thing to look at, another to ingest. The service here was incredible. They were understaffed tonight. Superwoman Collette wonderfully serviced every table, all by her lonesome. Our waters were topped off at all times. We didn't wait unreasonably for food. We even got pecan pies warmed up, covered in whipped cream, for $1 a piece. The service is the reason I have raised my review to a 4/5. Denny's waitress and hostess would not accommadate my wheelchair bound 90 year old mother who is on portable oxygen. She needed to have her oxygen plugged in. We have been to this Denny's many times. I inform the hostess about my mom needing to be plugged in and they have always accommodated this request. Today, however, I was told that a waitress was not assigned to the table we always sit at. the table was NEXT to the table she was waiting on. We had to end up leaving. The waitresses are doing their best with how busy it is but..... The "manager" was wiping tables with a wet dirty rag and drying with a napkin. The men's bathroom was disgusting and instead of it being addressed an employee just had a do not slip sign. Needless to say my husband did not use the bathroom. Also, it's interesting that none of dennys promotional meals are advertised there. Luckily I checked online because the "everyday slam" was $7 and for one more slice of French toast and two slices of undercooked bacon I could have paid $15 for. I haven't been to a Denny's in a while and don't remember ever eating lunch there. We were close and hubs wanted to stop here. We stood only a bit before someone noticed and took the other couple and then us to our tables. Menus given and drinks orders taken. We decided on burgers. They have huge double & bigger burgers on the menu but Danielle, our server, said they have a one party regular cheeseburger, too. We both ordered the burgers-one with regular and one with seasoned fries. The lights flickered and went off in some sections. The kitchen was operating on emergency lighting but they seemed to be operating normally. Our burgers and fries came out not long after. The burger was amazing-juicy, great flavor with amazing caramelized areas on the edges. The fries were good, too. Our server said they were probably the best burgers on the mountain and I have to agree! I definitely recommend the burgers at this Denny's. I would definitely go back the next time I wanted a burger. Service was good, ambiance is your typical Denny's, and food was great! read more

My daughter works there and the boss man put a coffee pot on a warmer did not tell her that it was on she grabbed the handle (it was plastic but metal under the plastic) it was so hot it melted into her hand! When she talked to him about it he told her it was her fault and she better not do a LnI claim and made her finish her shift. The cook came out to help her serve cause she couldn't grab things If I knew how to post a picture I would it makes me sick that he would keep a 18 year old ( or any age) there with a second degree burn all over her hand. read more

I was glad to get to sit down after long day working away from home, but the service was poor. Our waters never got filled again, and the omelette was wrong the first time. I was eating Keto and got the veggies that were very good sautéed but I definitely was hoping for more than what I got. Okay, I have been to A LOT of diners in my life, all over the United States, and let's face it. Denny's is Denny's. Decent food, and okay prices, but there are usually better or faster places to eat, depending on your needs. So, Denny's is not usually where I go to eat. It's only after 9pm and everywhere else is closed that Denny's has really been an option for me in the past. Denny's has been the best of what's left. Well apparently, here in Show Low, that is a mistake, because my wife and I went out just to have a little time to ourselves and it was after 9pm. Hmmm, where to go? Denny's. (Ehhh. Okay.) We stopped in around 9:30pm and was seated fairly quickly. Booth was okay, no duct tape on the cushions but a little small for my taste. Not great, but good. Our waitress, Jen. Stopped by after we were seated, took our drink order and gave us our menus, giving us a few to look them over. She came back with our drinks, and asked if we were ready to order. We gave an appetizer order, which she took giving us a bit more time to peruse the menu. We ordered, and about 7 minutes later, our appetizer was out. About 10 minutes after that, our food was out. Jen was friendly, courteous, prompt, and efficient, but not interrupting, or over bearing. She kept our drink glasses full, and made sure we were enjoying ourselves and the food, while letting my wife and I enjoy our conversation. The food? It was great. Really. It was. Some of the best diner food I have ever had, and much better than a typical Denny's. Hot, flavorful, and actually looked like the picture on the menu. (That rarely happens anywhere. So, that's new. ) Well, maybe that was a fluke. Could be, but this afternoon, My wife and I decided to test that theory, and we took my elderly father with us this time. Different manager on duty. Different hostess, waitress, and cook. We ordered different foods. (Except the for the pancake puppies, I mean let's not get crazy, we HAD to have those again.) So, how was it? It was great... I mean it. The consistency of the quality of service that Anna provided was comparable to the service Jen provided, as was the flavor and quality of the foods served on both visits. Couple that with the teamwork I both witnessed and experienced on my second visit, is a REAL testament to the standards and leadership of the management team, and the exceptional personal they have hired and trained, as well as the personal values of their respective shift crews. Sorry, this place is going downhill. My family have been coming here for more than 20 years but the owners have let become run down. Our servicer taking our order was amazing no doubt one out of 4 of us at our table ordered a slam burger and it tasted as though someone dumped a TON of salt within the burger. It's a little cold in the building itself but it was alright. But over all service of person taking our order amazing 5 stars, the food not good only 2 stars max and everything else was okay ...
