Happy #ServiceStarShoutOut Day! My shout out is going to my local car wash spot. If you enjoy touch free auto car washes, Denny's is your place. They have 2 locations, but for convenience to me I prefer the Oakville spot. It's a modern, clean building. There isn't much of a seated waiting area (pre-covid but especially now), so you have to stand while your car is getting washed or you can sit outside on the curb and wait. There are different levels of washes to choose from. Honestly, I don't get the 5 star as it's just too much for my car, but the basic wash is a) affordable and b) does the job I'm usually looking for. Inside where you pay there are a variety of air fresheners and beverages to purchase. The staff isn't always the most chatty - but they are quick and with a constant line, there is likely no time for chitchat. If it's a sunny day I can guarantee there will be a lineup so pack your coffee and plan on waiting! read more

Just had the worst experience at Denny's Oakville. The exterior wash was good but the attention to detail while cleaning the inside was pathetic. I had to tell them that the car wasn't cleaned properly from the inside as I could still see dust under the mats, on the sides etc. The mats were not washed properly. The car was taken back in the bay to clean what was neglected but even then the results were very unsatisfactory. The mats were not even clipped back which actually is a safety hazard. The pictures attached clearly show the level of service offered at Denny's Oakville. Not recommending the service they provide to anyone, especially after paying C$63.27. The 5star wash is not even a 2 star based on my experience. I can do a better job cleaning my car myself by taking it to any washing bay with a vacuuming service. read more

This location is great. It is extremely clean and excellent when it comes to customer service. I've been here a few times now and I've been pleased overall. At the time that I posted this review I had a bit of an incident with the greeter when I pulled in. I ordered basic wash and asked him if he would do me a favor and hose down my winter mat. He refused and told me that that would be an additional cost. Obviously this was not a good start to my experience. The owner personally helped clean my car at the end and waved me goodbye. I ended up telling him about how I was greeted and he rectified the situation and complimented me to a free wash. He was able to take this negative experience and make it stellar. In Canada everything seems rip off. However, this place is the best. I went there for car wash, this place is really worth it. Clean place, friendly customer services, packages under $40 exterior and interior cleaning is awesome. I drove my SUV from Texas to visit family friend. Then I went this place for car wash. In the past Denny's was a great car wash at a decent price. Had my car washed today and they have increased their prices. I used to pay $32 for a complete car wash with a tire shine now the price is $39 for a complete wash. I guess because their in Oakville they can charge whatever they want read more

My review is of Oakville location and my experience. Earlier today went to this location for 5 star car wash prior to trading in my vehicle. My sun roof was slightly open. The vehicle got wet and they informed me they vacuumed out water. On driving home, noticed that radio was no longer working and that water was coming out from under steering column. Called to complain. Young gentleman called back and explained they usually did a quick check to see if windows and sun roof were open. He suggested I keep windows open in car a little to avoid a potential smell and that hopefully the radio would work once car had dried out. Asked for owner to call me back which he did. Dennis, the owner, became aggressive with me on the phone and said he was taking zero responsibility and told me they did check but if sun roof was open fully they would have seen, but as it was a little it was not seen and it was an SUV so not always noticeable if only open a little. Told him would do a chargeback on credit card, and use social media to present what had happened. He started raising his voice and was incredulous that I knew I was going to a car wash and hadn't checked my windows and sun roof were closed - repeated this at least 3 times. He told me I was threatening him which I was not - merely informing him what I was going to do and explain my side of the story. He then told me he would not talk to me and ended the call. At no stage did I raise my voice, merely expressed my displeasure at the situation and advised what I would do on social media. Yes I knew I was going to a car wash but surely a car wash given the nature of their business checks to see if windows were open and has some responsibility to do so. Did not see any terms and conditions or liability notices in waiting area. They are not a member of Canadian Car Wash Association. I'm now going to have my trade in value reduced as the radio is not working. Stick with Car Pride Auto Spa whom I usually go too, but went to Denny's today as closer to home and was in a rush. I'm being forced to give at least a star - if it was an option, would give zero based on owners response. In terms of vehicle clean without taking into account the fact my car received water damage, I would rate it a 3.5. Thanks for reading this review. UPDATE: Full disclosure: Have just checked my voicemail and see I missed a call from Dennis at 7.06pm. He left a voicemail asking me to call him back.
