Due to my negligence my car had a chip on the quarter panel and a nice sized crease along my passenger door. I was dreading the cost since I wasn't planning on going through my insurance. The first shop that quoted me...I kid you not I nearly had a heart attack...second place same reaction...third the price was too good to be true which made me weary...and after endless Yelp searches and vendors wanting me to bring my car in I came across DentFinish San Diego and thought I would try my luck. I reached out to Senkosol and sent out a few photos of the damage. He responded immediately and gave me a reasonable quote. He was extremely personable and reassuring. After several months I finally brought my car in this past Monday after making an appointment. The place isn't too hard to find just go down the dirt driveway and you'll see the office to the right. Dropping off my vehicle was such an easy process. I met with his team and spoke with Narann and the gentleman who would be working my car. They were also very friendly. I showed them the damage as well and a few chips of paint I'd like filled in. They reassured me the color match would be perfect and that I'd have my car this week. Narann reached out to me a few days later with an update which was nice. Today (Friday) I was advised my car was ready for pickup! I came by and immediately saw my car, the paint job was beautiful and the color match was spot on. I couldn't even tell there was ever any damage...I was greeted by another gentleman (didn't get his name but he was nice) and he went to grab my keys. My car had even been washed which was a pleasant surprise. After inspecting the paint a bit closer I noticed there was a few bubbles and they advised they would fix it right away. After they were done the bubbles were gone but I noticed a few other marks in the paint and a few chips that I requested weren't filled (easy to miss I don't blame them). Narann reassured me I could come back and get it fixed, so I'll be back next week as it was almost closing time and I wanted to beat traffic. It was nice because I can tell they are all about customer satisfaction. Before I left I received my invoice and aftercare instructions! My experience had truly been pleasant thus far! You guys! I can't even tell you how grateful and lucky I am to have found Dent Finish. I scratched and dented my car pretty badly a couple weeks ago and was scrambling to find an auto shop that would not rip me off. I also didn't want to go through insurance and having to deal with my premium going up. My friend's rental suffered damage when he scraped it against the garage wall. Dent Finish was the only body shop to respond to my inquiry on the same day. Knowing my friend had to return his rental in the morning and fly back to the east coast, Dent Finish offered to take the time that same day to see if they could help us. Upon taking in the vehicle, the staff examined the vehicle, and quoted us the very reasonable price of $150- $180. It should be noted that while the staff was very busy with other vehicles, they stopped what they were doing to work on ours. The staff buffed and cleaned the damaged area, making it look much better, but told us they were unable to fully remove the dents. Because of this, the staff told us they were not going to charge us, for fear we would still be charged by the car rental company. When we tried to pay them simply $20 for their efforts, they refused to accept any payment! Such work ethic and integrity is extremely hard to come by in today's world. The honesty, integrity, and kindness exhibited by Dent Finish will not be forgotten, and I will certainly take my vehicle to them in the future, and refer friends. We bought the top of the line Honda Odyssey back in 2013, almost 40k out the door. Barely 4 years old, 40k miles, in very good condition. We were victims of a hit and run at Balboa hospital back in 2015, while my husband (active duty in the Corps at that time) was battling cancer. I found this company after much research and upon speaking to the owner, he seemed nice & fair enough. We paid over $1k to fix the small dents and scratches at the bottom of the door. To the eye of someone who knows nothing about cars or paint jobs, it seemed legit. I had trust and faith in them that they did the best job they could possibly do. Fast forward to not even two years later, we take our van to trade it in at Toyota. We did not bring up the accident as it had slipped our minds. The manager spotted it right away and said in his honest opinion, it was the WORST paint job he has ever come across and it's very obvious that they did a shoddy job. We just wanted to get rid of the van so we did not have to deal with registering it in a few months from HI To CA. We got offered a trade in value of $4K UNDER the low end of KBB due to this specific paint job. was almost upside down on our loan if I didn't haggle out a better deal.
