Every nurse, receptionist, and dentist I've come across is there to get the job done promptly and get you out of there. They are nice, but know that you've probably got better things to do than be at the dentist. They're always gentle on my mouth and have tv's mounted on the ceiling to distract you while they're digging around. I've since moved out of Drummoyne, but will continue driving back when I have an appointment because I like them and don't want to risk trying elsewhere.

This dental and eye care centre is one of the two offices it has in Sydney, the other being in Surry Hills. It was my first visit here the other day and I was booked in for a check up. I don't know if this was a normal procedure for dentists, but I was impressed by the X-rays that were administered at the start of the consultation, although the clean and polish procedure that followed was a bit too rough for my liking. Overall it wasn't the best trip to the dentist, but not the worst either.The dentist was far more amicable than a lot of the other dentists I've encountered, who make me feel uncomfortable being in a room with them for longer than ten minutes.

MDentistry is located just a few doors down from the 'mini' Woolworth's in Rose Bay. While parking can be found on the nearby streets, the easiest place to park is in the mini-Woolworth's lot. Dr Maratos is a Bupa provider though I'm pretty sure he accepts other insurance. He listened to my concerns and we agreed on a plan of treatment that worked well for me. The office is clean, comfortable and if you need it, there is wheelchair access from the street entrance. Lisa is not only the receptionist but she seems to be Dr Maratos' right hand gal! She is sweet and always smiling. So while a visit to the dentist isn't usually a walk in the park, Dr Maratos and Lisa make it feel like it is!! Finding a dentist when you're new to the area or just unhappy with your current dentist is not easy but...once you find Dr Maratos.....your search for a great dentist will be over! You can thank me later!

I've been heading here for nearly 10 years, and have kept returning even when my job location moved (and it was no longer a 5 minute walk down the street). First up, as a Medibank Private member, on my plan I get my 6 monthly check-up and clean for free. (Check whether this applies to your health fund, I think they're a member choice dentist of a few funds.) Second, the x-rays are digital, meaning they're a lot quicker and more accurate than the old school x-rays. Third, having great views over towards Darling Harbour from the windows (not that you can see much when you're in the chair) is a sweetener. Finally, it's pretty cool having a dentist called "Dr Kiss"! (For real!)

This particular dentist is sharing the medical centre with an optometrist. It can be a little strange at first but as soon as I arrived. their friendly staff greeted me. They were very helpful and after a couple fo minutes I was accepted into the surgery room on time. The dentist was very professional and provided me with a painless treatment. She was also very patient and explained to me in detail the procedure. This helped me feeling more relaxed as I knew what was coming. Anyways, great price and great service, what else can a patient ask for?
