I haven't had regular dental care in quite some time and was very pleased that I was x-rayed and photographed from every conceivable angle and was also given a thorough cancer screening by the dentist, Dr. Mohammed. As a result of the x-rays, I discovered I have periodontal disease and am now taking fastidious care of my teeth and gums; I'm using a gum detoxifying toothpaste that the hygienist gave me a sample of, a mouthwash that she recommended and flossing properly as she showed me. The only negative for me is that I think the reception staff could be less perfunctory...be a little more welcoming when patients arrive which would help alleviate nervousness (about both the visit and the bill).

That was until I got to know the staff at East Gate Dental Centre. They all took the time to explain things to me and listen to my concerns. At East Gate Dental Centre, from reception all the way through, everyone is so friendly, professional, gentle, understanding and knowledgeable. Dr. Rival, the Dental Surgeon, is amazing! I am honoured to say that he has worked on, and continues to work on my teeth. His chair side manor is beyond comforting. Dr. Rival takes the time to explain what needs to be done, explains options and makes sure you understand what is happening and why, which is exactly how it should be. My teeth went from being an embarrassment to being one of my features I show off all of the time. I could not be happier!! Thank you East Gate Dental Centre! My dog jumped up because she was happy to see me and hit her tooth on my tooth. Unfortunately it caused a jagged front tooth, it was really embarrassing. I had an appointment for a cleaning the next day but called and they moved things around so I could have this fixed instead. I was so thankful. Dr.Ramirez and her assistant were fantastic. My tooth looks better than it did before. This is a great place. They will make you look forward to going to the dentist
