The problem is that there is gap between mattress and headboard which a small child's leg could easily get pinched in there among other things. Think about asking about return time on your purchase before buying.

She asked for my information, I asked her if it was going to run my credit. She assured me that she wasn't. She was just going to get me into the system. I come to find out a few days later that it was a lie and she did run my credit. I don't know if it was just a miscommunication in her training or what happened there, but running someone's credit without full permission IS ILLEGAL. I called up Furniture Row and asked for the manager, he told me that he would get to the bottom of it and see what went on. Instead of hearing back from him, I heard back from Arin. Instead of a "sorry for the miscommunication" or anything, she started blaming me for my credit being ran. As I was repeating back the conversation, she started to try and talk over me. I told her that she needs to be quiet, I was talking and it's very rude to talk over someone. She told me that I had no right to disrespect her and hung up the phone. Never have I ever seen such poor customer service in that store before!

Still not right, so we called and told them we wanted to return it. When we went to the store, the financial manager told us that we had $1,600 credit from the chair. They also told us that we were to keep the chair, and do whatever we wished with it. We picked out another chair, and she then said we had a $500 balance. We were fine with that, and told them that we would be back at a later date, and we had 30 days to spend this credit. We came back on an evening, picked out a discounted mattress and a new end table. Meanwhile, I received a call from the financial manager, and she stated that they would have to take the chair back. We were find with that. She called again the next day and said we owed money for the new chair. I had to remind her that we were exchanging the defective chair for a new one. We picked up the mattress a couple of days later, and the end table had not been shipped yet. We received a receipt from Ashley that day stating that we owed ZERO on this mattress and table. A week later, the financial manager called and stated that we owed money on the mattress and the table. We reminded her that we had a credit for these items. She said the credit amount was wrong, even though we had paperwork stating that we owed zero. This is very poor management, as they made the mistake. Number one, we will never purchase anything else from Ashley. And two, the financial management does a terrible job. The two salespersons that we dealt with were very friendly and courteous. That's the only thing they have going for them!
