Stopped in here, bought milk, butter, baguette, cheese and a few wines. Great staff and I did have to buy a bag, but that was fine for us, I didn't have room in my other bags for my necessities. To : Customer Relations…read more I had gone grocery shopping at Magasin General in the village at Mount Tremblan. On checkout, the cashier rudely told me to bag while emptying my grocery cart, which was quite full. She was rude and came across as being racist since I am of East Indian origin. She also suggested that I Van shop elsewhere. She seemed polite to other non Caucasian customers and so this is a clear case of discrimination. I was upset and left the store with a full cart of groceries without purchasing anything . I sincerely hope you look into this matter and give it serious consideration as I will definitely be sharing my experience to others. I went in there recently to buy ice cream. The cashier was super rude and hostile. She sounds like a racist who hates whites. She said hello so I said hello. But she kept saying hello and I didn't answer. I think she was looking for a fight. She wouldn't put my ice cream through and kept staring at me. She must've thought I'm an easy mark because I'm female. So I didn't buy the ice cream and walked out. Because of her the store loses customers and money. I had the same issue with her a year ago. Yes she's still working there. That time she laughed wickedly as I walked out. This time she made a nasty comment in French as I left. This time I reported her to head office and they're looking into it. I'm awaiting their reply.

It basically has everything you need to arrive in Mont Tremblant, come to the store and be ready to cook breakfast and dinner the next day. The store is on the bus route and has a stop right at the front entrance. We stayed in the Old Village, less than a five minute walk to the store, so for us it was heaven sent. We were impressed at the quality of their food and most of all, their cheeses. They have a wide selection of ready-to-warm items which came quite handy as after a full day of skiing, there is little energy left to engage in from-scratch cooking. Staff is helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Overall, a most convenient, and well stocked place.

Grab your wood here for the fire places up at cap Tremblant because they sell it 5.75 for one log down at the front desk not the best deal. You can't miss the spot it's right beside the tennis court.
