Firstly they will not give you a quote over the phone they say it's policy, then they tell you there is a $89 service fee just to come out and look. Once they get to your house they have a pricing guide they could definitely give to their call center to give quotes. During their visit the quote is over double the price of every other honest plumber, this is an attempt to scam people out of $89 or to force them to spend double because you've already had to commit to the $89 fee. The employee was very defensive and rude after being questioned about their policy's. Beware of this company and their very deceitful practices. read more

Received a call 2 hours later saying they could not have someone come out due to an emergency call and have to reschedule my appointment for Monday which is 2 days later. They get you for the $69 thinking they will take a look at the problem. For a gas leak check for like 5 minutes then to just change out fittings is $1375 hell no. Not reliable. Over priced! Charged a card they had no business having on file whatsoever! not fixing their mistakes! Had two issues with them. We called them because our bathroom was flooding underneath the toilet at a commercial building. when they arrived I gave them one card and immediately I told him to take that card off and use a different one right away so he did that. I was charged a ridiculous fee for an extra person to help him and it seemed like they spent more of the time running around the building I'm not sure why, our bathroom just had to be reset and unclogged. Once I was told that the bathroom was finished, went to check and it was not flushing now we had absolutely no problem with it flushing and he was trying to leave. We said the job is not done and you did something wrong that it's not flushing now. He said he had to get a part and come back. The following day I called to complain They got defensive and almost argued with us saying that it's not their fault that the flush is not working and wanted to charge me an extra $337 but ended up saying if you think it's our fault we will fix it (yes we think it's 100% your fault). They come the following day call me before the appointment and say something about a form of payment. My response was the owner is on site She is there and if anything is needed talk to her bc she talked to them when they said they would take care of fixing it. The guy came, and did what he needed to do, and left. The following day I see a charge for $337 in my bank. THEY CHARGED THE CARD I TOLD THEM TO TAKE OFF AND NOT USE! Why was it still in the system? No payment was supposed to come out of that card at all $0! I called to complain and had no response for over 2 weeks! Made a bank claim and ONLY THEN got a call! read more

Once it was inspected by the water company, we found out that we only needed a gasket to fix it! Dependable Rooter said they ONLY replace WHOLE units instead of just one part. What could've been fixed for $150 ended up being $2000. I would not recommend using this company since they do not replace PARTS, they only replace whole units for all plumbing issues you have. read more

I managed to break the (ancient) assembly under my bathroom sink while retrieving jewelry from the p-trap. I called it in at 9 at night and got an appointment for 8 the next day. A tech was out, but the appointment still only had to be postponed to the afternoon. Kon(stantin, sp?) came out. He called when he was 30 min out, was cheerful, professional, and quickly figured out some options. When I made it clear we were in a budget, he identified the lower-cost options I could use and made them work. The drains throughout my whole house were constantly backing up. We had called Rooter Hero a couple of times and were pleased with their service so we called them again. Mike came out to assess the situation... it was bad. Everything was so gunked up he could hardly get the camera in the pipe; the plumbing in was 52 years old! Mike explained the situation to us then had his supervisor, Adam come out to determine the full extent of what needed to be done. The whole house needed to be replummed. These guys were great, we even had them do some ork in our bathroom. We asked if they could take out the tub and put in just a shower; yes they could and they did. They also replaced the bathroom floor for us. They replaced every bit of pipe under the house all the way to the street, they were quick in their work and cleaned up at the end of each day. I can't say enough good about the work they did for us; these guys are fantastic. They were very patient with us when we had to postpone the work due to COVID making us sick then once again when I broke my sholder the weekend before the date we were ready for them to begin work. Once they could start working they were on time, clean (as clean as anyone can be digging in the dirt) and made the process as easy on us as they possibly could.
