I would give it a higher score, but it's tight next to the interstate and also is on land that allows hunting so you have to be weary of hunters and archers while your pups are running around.

I appreciated that it had flexible hours and is a free dog park (suggested donation box avai). This is the biggest dog park that we've been to compared to the ones in IL and it's free! The park has 2 different areas that are gated and a place in the middle of the park if you want to switch over to the other gated park. Both parks are huge but the one to the right feels slightly bigger. The parks have dog bowls laying around for water and toy boxes available to use as well. Poop bags are available and it is encouraged that people pick up and toss their dogs' poo out in the trash on the way out. I stepped on poo the first time I came here and that was not pleasant...the 2nd time I came here, I didn't step on poo but there were poop bags laying around. It would be nice if people just picked up and threw away their own dogs' poop. Other than that, the park is overall clean. We'll be back if we are in the area again!
