Due to it's almost austere location, I'm not sure if I would intentionally choose it, however, it definitely caters to the airline industry. Along with us, were literally dozens of others all sent there from the airline.
The architecture is extremely unique! It stands out like an oasis in a desert, towering above everything else nearby. Speaking of nearby, it's situated right next to a huge outlet mall with all the name brand stores, e.g. Adidas, Nike, Gucci and so on. It's almost as if you're in the States when gazing upon its sheer size. Mind you, this whole spread is an easy 30 miles from the Vienna Airport. Once again, almost austere.
The lobby has a small bar/restaurant to cater to their stranded travelers in true opportunistic fashion. Not bad, but that burger was nowhere near a 16 Euro burger. Is any burger, by the way?
The rooms are very accommodating, clean and comfy. Actually refreshingly sizey compared to many European hotels. Very modern and stylish!
The staff was extremely nice! They took care of everything, to include providing us with a box breakfast for the road since we had to roll out at 0445 the following morning. In addition, they arranged for our taxi the following morning and like clockwork, the driver was there waiting for us as we checked out.
Other than the fact that our return flight to Germany was delayed a day, this hotel experience turned out to be a nice respite in an otherwise hectic and tiring adventure.
Once again, I doubt I'd intentionally stay here, but if you're hankering for a shopping spree at that super mall, or the airline puts you up, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the stay.
Cheers!
