Presentation was beautiful and the food was delish. We were told the catering would include everything (plates, forks, cups etc) and they would decorate the buffets to match our theme. We were torn because I really liked lady fingers, however chose to go with hey Mr Dj. This unfortunately was a mistake. The baked potatoes were not edible, they were completely raw. We requested green beans, which were not served until after over 1/2 my guests had gotten their plates. My husband and I were super surprised to see they decorated their buffets lines using our decorative table cloths, and did not ask first. I assume they found them at the venue and helped themselves. We had to ask for butter for the potato bar as it was not out. Although it was not needed because the potatoes were impossible to eat. The chicken at the tasting had a nice seasoning on them, however the chicken served at my wedding was plain chicken breasts with no seasoning floating in water (and dried out). Cake cutting I was originally told was included ended up being a charge and I was told I had to purchase plates, napkins, forks etc. ‍. I wish we had stuck to only the DJ services. The DJ was super nice and interactive. I did reach out to Glen Davis to tell him about our experience before posting this and he seemed to offer several excuses. He admitted having a "new chef" but felt the food should have been the same as they follow the same recipes. I was very disappointed and to be honest embarrassed . Many and I mean many of my guests raved about the DJ, cake, and decorations but openly admitted the food was not good. Again shall I say embarrassed . He offered a free bounce house for my kiddos this summer, but the truth is, I felt like he really didn't care. He said he was told the potatoes were undercooked from the DJ but overall food was good. Well I am the paying customer, and apparently what I feel is unimportant. Even though the DJ was great, knowing what I know now about the lack of care from Glen, I will never use their services again. Not only myself but all family and friends. Very sad because we had such high hopes and bragged about how good the night was going to be including the food. This should have been the case considering the price we paid. He is so easy to work with from Day 1 and he was the last thing for us to worry about in our wedding. He kindly met us on site and checked out the location months ahead of time and left us a binder of popular song selections to work with, FOR EVERY PART of the wedding ceremony you can think of (and he helped us to set our wedding timeline!) I requested a special Chinese song to dance with my mom. It's not even on YouTube and Marshall somehow found it!!! He was the first vendor who contacted us and reminded us of the day, and we had a conference call for 2 hours (on Fathers' Day weekend!) to finalize the music details! We planned to have an outdoor ceremony but then it rained and stormed so we had to move everything indoor. Marshall had it set up both ways professionally and directed the whole wedding smoothly. The whole city of Frankfort, KY blacked out for a few minutes RIGHT BEFORE I walked down the aisle and Marshall picked up what we'd left off and recovered everything as soon as the electricity went back on! He played so many great songs during the reception that our guests were amazed by what a fun-filled wedding we had! His strength lies in relaying countless anecdotes that may or may not pertain to his clients. 2. We came to our meeting requesting a specific era in music, and he said he needed exact songs. After we did so, he proceeded to spend over and hour, along with his close colleague, ridiculing our music choice, and requesting that we dance in front of him to prove that in fact our music is danceable. We had no choice to switch our companies at that point, as our wedding was 2 days away! Needless to say, after we gave up and just requested 7 of our 20 songs as "must plays," our wedding guests spent the night requesting almost verbatim the songs that we had originally put on our list (without prompting from us). 3. If you are not a traditional couple, I highly suggest not using Yancey Entertainment. After we referred to our wedding as a wedding (since we do come from a state that recognizes gay marriage), Yancey on numerous occasions referred to it as a commitment ceremony. The kicker was when at the end of the night, we were given cds of our playlists labeled with our names and commitment ceremony on the cover. Marshall's company is best suited for straight couples, trying to entertain conservative multi-generational crowds, with a preference for top 40s hits! If you don't fit into these categories, don't bother.

We paid to have them sit through the round table run through in addition to the tech rehearsal and it was something we will do moving forward because it allowed him to get a better idea of our vision. We used SUP for all sound / music and some lighting. My only regret is that we did not use them for EVERYTHING as the hotel we worked with had enormous fees for outside vendors. It included catering, cake and cupcakes, officiant, wedding planner (Janna), DJ, and your choice of decorations. It CAN include your flowers too, something I chose to do and they were beautiful! You cannot beat the price anywhere. The venue itself if gorgeous! I am in live with the hearth room and am so glad we were able to have the ceremony in there. It is a HUGE stone hearth that takes up moth of the wall. They have it decorated gorgeously with lanterns and garland. The reception room is huge and has a nice stage. The tables and chairs all get decorated and looked amazing. It is very classy. There is also a very nice bar area if you choose to get a bar package. It is all stone and wood. There is a beautiful outside area to get married and/or take pictures. They have a great bride room with its own toilet, lots of mirrors, and seats. The restrooms are very nice and large so people can change clothes is needed. I don't think you can find a prettier venue, especially at their prices. The catering was by Shack in the Back BBQ. They have special prices with that venue that you can't beat. We had BBQ pork and chicken with AMAZING mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, and scrumptious green beans. The BBQ pork was very good with your choice of sauce. I was told (but didn't try it personally) that the BBQ wasn't very good. For an additional dollar per plate, it included lemonade and maybe something else to drink (I can't remember the details.) It was definitely worth the extra charge not to have to bring in our own drinks and make sure they were cold. The cake and cupcakes were very good. I LOVED the icing, it wasn't too sweet but just sweet enough. I got a mix of vanilla and chocolate. They put beautiful pink flowers on the top of the cake. I was really pleased with how it turned out. The MOST IMPORTANT part of the whole experience was the people that work there. Megan was wonderful to work with getting everything initially set up and managed. Louise did a great job on my flowers and gave me exactly what it asked for. But Janna, the coordinator, was absolutely the best part of the whole experience! She made sure every detail was planned out and ran smoothly. She was available by text or phone anytime I had a question or changed my mind. She was also the officiant at our ceremony and almost brought me to tears. First, I have to say that my review is just based on my experience getting a quote from Complete…read morenot their actual services because I never got that far. I used the quote calculator on their website to get an estimate prior to my fall wedding. When I had to enter my email address and phone number I felt like I was going to regret it later, but did it anyway. Not only did I receive the quote, but I was mailed a contract, and called within hours of the estimate. I told the person I spoke with that we were comparing prices on videographers and I just wanted a quote but wasn't ready to make a decision yet. We didn't have a ton of money for video so it was essential that we do our research. He seemed to understand, BUT the phone calls didn't stop. A few days later - "We're going to hold your date!" I told them that was unnecessary. I got a weekly phone call for a while, which I ignored and then immediately received a follow-up email. I usually responded to those telling them we hadn't decided and would let them know if we wanted to hire them. They reminded me that "We can't hold your date for much longer..." Which I never asked them to do. AND after telling them I had DJ services taken care of they repeatedly tried to up sell me their own. About two months or so out from the wedding I started getting DAILY calls, even after telling them that I had handed off videography duties to my fiancé. I ignored all calls and emails. The calls were always during the day while was at work, at a new job - it felt like they didn't care what I may be doing, they just wanted my business no matter what, complete disregard for my daily life. I genuinely felt like I was being harassed and knew that regardless of how lovely their online reels were we would never work with this company. I was so annoyed I didn't feel like I owed them the courtesy of telling them either. I just continued to ignore the calls and emails. If you want to hire Complete for sure, right off the bat, I am willing to bet the experience it quite different, great even. But if you are just browsing area vendors be warned that they will not leave you alone. I felt like I was clear and firm about our situation and it just didn't get through... A business should never make you feel cornered into hiring them. Complete- I highly recommend you calm it down when it comes to potential clients. Check on the initial quote, follow back up in a month or two depending on when the event is, and then follow up six weeks before the event. No more than that or it will turn people off. Had we not had such a negative experience in the beginning it is highly likely we would have hired you for our wedding.
