I have been pleased with all my visits. The surgery that Dr. Collins oversaw was handled very properly, i.e., he took a biopsy, called me in for the review, determined it was severe enough to warrant 'the best available surgeon' and sent me to Savannah for the procedure. The second time a melanoma appeared on my scalp is used my VA but they did not have a dermatology section and I asked to have it under their auspices in Vidalia but Dr. Collins was not on their approved list for some reason and I was referred to another and the experience was terrible--no biopsy but the lesion was excised at the first visit with the news that further surgery would be done in Macon. As I left the office and was driving home the bandage applied fell off. I put it back as best I could. Later that evening it began to bleed profusely and I called 911 and was taken to the ER at Meadows where they attended to it and applied a new bandage that was firmly applied. I continued with the wound bandaging until the surgery was scheduled at Naviscent in Macon. I have not been back to the doctor who did this and won't return. I have a small spot that a biopsy showed was benign but a bout of sepsis required hospitalization and I recovered from that and now had a PET/CT scan at Meadows and it is negative--full body. So now I need to make an appointment with Dr. Collins and get that checked and done. Ralph Cooper read more

Everyone who works there is so friendly and congenial. They were very professional and always accommodating to work to get me in on my schedule as I live 1-1/2 hrs away. One of the PA's on staff and her medical staff listened to my symptoms and after a careful examination knew exactly what my skin condition was. She explained the next steps of my care and along with medication gave me recommendations for skin products to order that have helped greatly in helping heal my problem areas. My husband has been going to Dr. Sharkey, Dr. Manning and Dr. Kelly for about 25 years and would not go anywhere else. They have done several skin cancers surgeries on him and he has been completely satisfied. I've gone to Dr. Manning a couple times and will stay with him. The Doctor's are very good at what they do. Definitely 5 star rating! Very professional! Dr. Collins diagnosis my lupus. He referred me to a very good rheumatologist. Later it was discovered that I had had hep c for 30 years. He consulted with my rheumatologist and my gastroenterologist as a team. I have seen him for 7 or 8 years. Very personal physician also. read more
