I had lumps in my lip filler, the injector tried to spot treat to dissolve which caused migration of the filler and when I came back for a second time I was told it was possibly my anatomy.. or that it was hard to make smooth lips with just half a syringe (which should have been discussed prior to injecting and is absolutely untrue) or it could have been from previous lip filler that was used. I was then asked to show her where to inject the dissolving solution because she "didn't see what I was talking about". Completely insane, uncomfortable, and absolutely unprofessional. I still have lumps and will need to pay someone to properly dissolve them. read more

DermFx is the best place for injectables and all your med spa needs. I've been to several other med spas but I always come back to DermFx. They just do a better job of fillers and botox. They always offer numbing. I've had other places straight away just start poking me with needles. Also everyone here is so nice and knowledgeable. Even as I write this the receptionist I'm at the Orange location, she told me to scan this QR code to see if I win a discount and I did! My nurse was Nina and she was knowledgeable honest. I highly recommend. However all of the employees are honest I've never been upsold like other places. In fact there are times I want more than I should and they will tell me that it is not needed. To start off this review I need to give a little background on my situation... I was someone who had gotten lip filler multiple times before by 2 different clinics and over the years formed lumps/bumps of filler that were not breaking down like the rest of the product overtime. I went to another clinic to see what their suggestions would be and they basically said there was nothing they could do and were extremely rude to me. (All of these prior clinics were highly reviewed on Yelp). Then I found DermFx (THANKFULLY)! I've been seen by Karina at the orange location and she has been amazing! I've seen Karina 3 times and she has helped me through this whole process. She helped have the filler lumps dissolved over 2 visits and then properly filled my lips at the 3rd visit. I've always been someone who swells and bruises dramatically, but this is the very first time that I have minimal swelling and no bruising! She was extremely nice and knowledgeable, taking her time to discuss every step and product with me. I never felt judged, worried, or like I was being pushed to purchase unnecessary products. Karina took all of my concerns into consideration and made this experience truly enjoyable. I will definitely be a return customer and trust Karina to help my lips look plumped but natural. To summarize everything up, contact DermFx/Karina and get scheduled you won't regret it!
