I didn't deal with them personally, my colleague did, but she said the whole process was smooth and…read morefriendly and professional. We ordered for about 30 people 2 choices of mains for a work Christmas Party, I'm fairly certain my colleague was in contact with them over a month before our event. Price approx 25-35$ per person for: 1x bouchees, a salad, a main with side, a dessert and bread and butter (very decent pricing for the quality). Food options were weird as hell imo, Tofu General Tao or Rhubarb Apple Chicken. I reluctantly and skeptically chose the Rhubarb Apple Chicken, (cuz I generally avoid the vegetarian option like a disease), but the execution was actually delicious! I was terrified it would be like some nasty swanson microwave meal but it was actually very pleasing to the tastebuds! The chicken was tender and not overcooked, the rhubarb apple sauce was more like a gravy than an applesauce (like I was dreading) and the monte carlo potato it came with was very good and not dry. The mushroom bouchée was delicious, perfect texture and flavour. The salad tasty, but much like a fancy coleslaw. The bread fresh, moist and soft, not tough or chewy. I didn't try the dessert but it looked good, maybe some kinda chocolate cake/brownie. Portions were decent for the price and quality (not too little not too much). The one thing I didn't like was that my colleague who set it up felt the need to stay by the serving table all night to explain the dishes and what main went with what side. I didn't ask her why she did that because I needed her help to know which dishes I was supposed to take, so I'm assuming the others did too. It would have been better if they had some sort of system with labels +/or custom containers, maybe, so that it would be more self explanatory or even a catering staff that actually does that part? Maybe that's an option at a higher price? I duno, I feel like my colleague didn't get to just relax and enjoy our Christmas Party and that made me sad. Only reason for 4 stars. I would surprisingly be willing to order catering from Zeste again. For how much I was seriously dreading it and already fathoming a negative review in my mind before trying it, that should really be telling you a lot. Go ahead and have these guys cater for you, I'm pretty sure you'll be impressed too.

I was incredibly impressed-- I could not have asked for a more professional, organized, efficient and detail oriented team. Jocelyn, the head manager, met with me to see the location and figure out how to arrange tables and chairs, both for the food prep, catering as well as guest seating. He and his crew arrived early the day of the reception to set everything up. Their work was impeccable. The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful, the servers were amiable from start to finish. They even helped clean up at the end of the night, packing leftovers and covering them with plastic wrap that they had brought just in case. I received innumerable compliments from my guests on everything from the tasty hors d'oeuvres to the serving staff's cheerful disposition. I would absolutely recommend this catering company to anyone, my experience with them was fantastic. They were just phenomenal!!!

"I know so many people who think they can do it alone I know…read morethere's an answer I know now" (The Beach Boys) OK, so you're hosting a formal charity gala for over 560 people in Montreal. How on earth can you feed that many people who've paid a pretty penny to attend? That's an easy question, because the clear answer is Las Olas Caterers. How they dealt with a huge room of 560 people makes them a legend. Their impeccably dressed staff served us butler style hot and cold appetizers. The meatballs and crab cakes were my favorites. Dinner was a feast of AYCE lobster, pasta salad, a roast beef carving station, potatoes, vegetables, rolls, butter, coffee, cake pops, macarons, truffles, cakes, pastries and more. They were fast, efficient, cheerful, and most of all, their food was fantastic. Their combination of professionalism and great food was outstanding.

I just came back from a nice evening at Brossard's annual volunteer gala where celebration, food,…read moremusic and dance were on the menu and noticed Las Olas was in charge of providing for the event. The chosen venue was an arena which was converted very nicely, draped in lavish dark curtains with dim lighting - better than the neon light fixtures. Theme was classic of red, white and black colors which the staffed matched perfectly. Everyone was polite, very attentive to needs, always present to set up, serve and clean up. I was very satisfied with the food which consisted of a nice assortment of pasta, rice, chicken, braised beef, salmon, steamed veggies, roasted potatoes, salads and typical cold cuts and sandwiches. This did not taste like cafeteria food, rather, gourmet dining. Only complaint was for the chocolate cake which was dry, masked with heavy frosting. The band they booked, also part of Las Olas' services, played some top hits and classics that suited young and old. After visiting the company's website, I see they cater to a wide range of events and needs, either a simple corporate lunch to a wedding. Very diverse menus, fun services like animation for parties or a nacho cheese fountain can be booked. They also adopt a "green" business model, initiatives to minimize waste and environmental impact. Very professional, recommended for your next big event, especially if you live on the South Shore.
