This is a bias review because the owners are my grandparents and I worked for Desert Disposal from the time that I was very young until I was nineteen years old. That said, I will testify that yes, they can be very brash however, you will not find a more generous/honest company to associate with. I now work in a Human Resources related field and I have dealt with many corporations as well as small businesses. To best summarize Desert Disposal: You get what you get; nothing is convoluted. Again, they may seem brash at times but guaranteed, they work with confidence and a lot of character. Additionally, the owners and the employees are some of the most diligent that I have ever been around; no matter if there is a holiday, bad weather, illness, etc. the work will get done. Further, although it is unconventional in today's policy-oriented and technologically-based culture, Janet Kubichek deals with all of her customers DIRECTLY... seriously, she rarely allows anyone else to take phone calls and even opted to take business calls while she was in the hospital; she charges the fairest rate possible and has helped many, many people in rough financial situations. Lady who answers the phone is a complete b**ch. No business etiquette whatsoever. Part of what's wrong with this town is business owners thinking they can provide subpar services and we're just gonna keep throwing our money at them. There isn't any real competition. I am up to date on payments and whatever the lady's name is still can't provide me with a reason as to why my garbage hasn't been picked up. She's rude and ends conversations by hanging up the phone. Lady, your inability to resolve any matter and provide attentive service, is gonna cost you customers. Life happens to everyone, but holy sh*t are you a miserable little f**k. read more

For all who write bad stuff about a company. you can only be people that have been taken to collections or service has been cancelled due to non payment. If you treat the company that you are working with respectfully, then you will receive respect but calling them liars and using foul language and down right being rude to the person on the phone does not help solve the problems. thank you Janet read more
