I first dealt with Jeremy Ofseyer involving a routine legal issue rather than on estate planning. His advice was straightforward, and there was no suggestion of any attempt to rework an existing trust set up years ago. Right there, that said a lot about his integrity. A few years later, it did become necessary to update the existing trust. His work on that was expert and thorough, and here too the fee was exceptionally reasonable. With his splendid background in estate planning, and with his teaching of legal ethics at the university level, I would not hesitate to select Jeremy Ofseyer to be my family's executor or trustee. I heard about living trusts and had decided that this was the correct and best way to take care of my children when I'm no longer here in this world. If I did not do the trust then my home and assets would more than likely get stuck in probate therefore leaving them a huge hassle and possibly years of waiting on probate. Before meeting Matthew I had purchased a kit for doing living trust online. It was impossible to make sense of it. So I started shopping for an attorney who specialized in these matters. I came across one and contacted him and he set up an initial consultation. I told him I was not prepared financially but he said the consultation was free. Bear in mind I am not referring to Matthew Stall but it's somebody else. I did not feel comfortable with him he seemed too eager to get me to sign my name. Eventually I learned of Matthew and it turned out to be a really pleasant experience talking with him and his filling in all the dots for me and explaining the process. I can only tell you that he really knows what he's doing and keeps everything understandable and pleasant. I had no idea of the process that it takes and how Matthew didn't miss anything. He was a very hard worker. What a load off my back and knowing that my wife and my children we're going to be taken care of without any difficulties. If asked to describe Kimberly, I would offer the following adjectives: - intelligent - hardworking - inquisitive - empathetic - humble - good humored In my experience with Kimberly, she is forthright. Although Kimberly is quite knowledgeable vis-a-vis estate planning, she practices with humility. If she does not know the answer to a question, then she says so, finds the answer, and informs her clients. It also is important to note that Kimberly combines her background, training, and expertise with a humane approach to her legal work. You never want to be in a situation where you're sitting next to your friend's hospital bed and they turn to you and say that they need to do planning because they only have a few months to live. Not only is this an incredibly heart-wrenching experience but completely avoidable at the same time. Although this is something they normally don't do, the attorney from the Desert Law Group put on their Superman cape and was able to not only visit the hospital but find a doctor who could do a medical evaluation in case the will was ever contested.
