Monique had…read moreanother client in the chair upon my arrival which is not uncommon in this business but to my dismay ANOTHER client comes in behind me for an appointment with Monique as well then it occurred to me she had double booked us. So instead of her servicing me she had her other stylist wash my hair after I had Already been sitting for 30 plus minutes, I was later placed under the dryer for God knows how long so her other stylist could finish their own clients. It is not so much the stylist I am upset with because they had other bookings and I'm not their responsibility. The final nail in the coffin for me was being asked if I wanted to "wait a little longer" and "I seem like I'm in a rush" When I replied No,I've been here since 1045 Monique's response was "Well it is the Saturday rush" I'm not sure what the Saturday rush has to do with my time being wasted, your stylist finishing your job, or the mismanagement of clients but I can certainly tell you "Saturday rush" does not mean I make an appointment for 1045 and not leave until 1:24 PM. A special thank you to CeCe for taking care of me you're professionalism and skills did not go unnoticed. It is very clear that you are the one holding the shop together. I will Always support black businesses but mismanagement of time will always be the downfall sadly. This timeline was egregious for a simple silk press.

After she (poorly) washed my hair, she literally told me "You must not comb through your hair very often" WTF!!!! Constantly kept talking smack about my hair and acting like I was bothering her by being there even though i didn't say anything and i tried to be nice...Wtf. not professional and very mean-spirited :( she didn't even braid my hair to make sure the weave lays down, this lady SLICKED my 4b hair to fit UNDER a quick weave and i paid for (no reason) for her to braid it down:( Then, gave me the WORST quick weave and hairstyle of my life. I cried for hours. yes, i paid for it and left because i wanted to just leave :( *I would post pictures, i'm just embarrassed*

ZERO stars I…read moreordered a customized wig for my 12 year old daughter who is battling alopecia. We ordered it on July 13th and were told 2 weeks; which was perfect because we were moving from Fort Stewart to FortKnox and my daughter starts school. A month later, pictures were sent and not at all accurate to what colors we sent her and picked. It was shipped to us in LESS than satisfactory quality or appearance. The hair was burnt, coloring was blochy and runny, it was terrible. Within hours, we contacted Kenya and expressed our dissatisfaction. She refused to refund our money, as it was now useless to us. Our daughter starts school 4 days later. She offered half the money back even though our product was completely useless. She also said she would refund that money once we return the unit so she could restock it; now she'll profit twice off of it. She offered to send a new unit but we would have to get it cut and colored out of our pocket. We are completely unsatisfied with the service, the product, and has since blocked my wife and I phones. Our daughter will now start a brand new school without a wig.
