I met Tricia during a bridal expo at the Center Club in Costa Mesa. I liked the floral arrangements she had on display so I took her card and checked out her website. I really liked what I saw on her website too so I contacted her. Tricia and I met twice and exchanged a few emails and that was it. Although Tricia is very busy during wedding season she was on top of all the details and changes we made to my contract. What I appreciated about working with Tricia, is that eventhough I don't know much about flowers and couldn't tell her the exact names of flowers I liked, she was able to extract my vision and by showing me pictures and sample arrangements she was able to show me that she understood exactly what I had in my head even though I couldn't express it in words. I wanted understated flowers that wouldn't be all up in everyone's face, but still did their job in adding some softness to our event. I loved my centerpieces, loved my bouquet, loved the mini arrangement that went on top of the cake. I loved the corsage she made for my mother in law and the little pillow she made for the ring boy.... basically, I loved everything Tricia did and could not have been happier with her work. One thing I really appreciate is that she is quick on the emails (I'm terrible at returning phone calls). We met her one morning at her home where she was able to sit and chat with us over coffee and tea about our vision for our wedding. She's really a sweet person and you can tell she's passionate about what she does and even showed us flowers and ideas for our own wedding. Her prices are competitive (actually very reasonable), and I feel that it's mainly because she just loves what she does and just wants to make things pretty. My only negatives is that she did take a few phone calls during our meeting which made our meeting feel a little less special/unimportant. Also I don't think she takes credit card, but I can't remember. :/ Or if she does, there's a fee. Took about 10 days for her to get a proposal for us. But it's a small business and I think just her and a handful of assistants. So with that said she only takes on 1 or 2 weddings a weekend. Tricia is, hands down, the BEST florist in Orange County - she lives and breathes flowers! I first met her in her beautiful and flower-filled home for my consultation, and she was so hospitable. Once we were done talking flowers, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to afford her services, but she was more than willing to work with my budget and provided me with alternatives so I would stay at/under my budget. Since the initial consultation, she and I kept constant communication till the weekend of my wedding. I wasn't sure what I wanted for my ceremony decorations, so Tricia was always giving me ideas, and she never failed to keep my budget in mind. On the day of the wedding, I saw Tricia working on the ceremony decorations, and it was everything I wanted (even though my selections were practically last-minute). We had a formal company holiday dinner party at Coto who referred me to Tricia for the centerpieces. I had no idea what to expect and let Tricia know that I honestly didn't really have a plan/theme in mind and she was so helpful in taking the reigns, giving me all these ideas, and then following through within our budget. Upon seeing the designs, it was seriously amazing! I was a little shocked at how much details went into the centerpieces. Everyone was so pleased with it and literally fought each other to take it home at the end of the night (also the flowers smelled great). Also, Tricia is super friendly and warm. I used Tricia for my wedding last October and I could not be happier with my decision to hire her as my wedding florist! I met her for an initial consultation in her home and she was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. I know nothing about flowers but she was very patient about explaining the different types of flowers, what would be in season, what would get me the look I wanted for less, etc. She also offered a lot of different ideas since I didn't really have any concrete ideas of what I wanted. I explained what I was generally envisioning and showed her some pictures and she totally got it! When I saw all the bouquets and centerpieces she made for the wedding, I was shocked at how perfectly she got the look I was going for! I'm not a big flowers person, but the flowers on my wedding day were so beautiful! I was bummed that they couldn't last forever... Another thing I loved about Tricia is that she was very mindful of my budget and her prices were very reasonable as far as wedding flowers go. My initial budget was totally unrealistic (I had no idea how much flowers cost!) but she came as close as she could and she offered some suggestions for things to eliminate in order to lessen the cost, without sacrificing the overall look. Talk about customer service and not just trying to upsell to make a buck! In an industry where it seems like it's easy to just try to oversell brides to make more money, I really appreciated this. Lastly, I loved how quickly she responded to emails. She was always readily accessible and willing to answer emails even at 3am...I'm not even kidding. I can't recommend Tricia enough. First of all, she doesn't have a minimum for an order which was perfect for us because we only did personal flowers at our wedding. Honestly, that in itself was hard to find. Tricia came recommended by the representative at my venue, who had used Tricia for her daughter's wedding. Which seemed like a good sign to me! I met with Tricia at her home office, and we talked through what I wanted for the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages. I brought some pictures I liked and while other florists I met with basically suggested just copying those pictures, Tricia expanded on it, suggesting other flowers in similar colors/styles. Tricia even found a special tulip at the flower market and put that in. I would never have known about it but I absolutely loved it. I ended up with a truly unique bouquet that felt very "me." The rest of the flowers were great as well, and held up very well through the whole night. Tricia was extremely professional and quick to respond to texts and emails. When I first went to Tricia, I had found out that my flower of choice was unfortunately not in season at the time of my wedding. I had my mind set that I wanted peonies in all f my arrangements, so hearing that they were unavailable at the time of my wedding was not what I had wanted to hear.
