I've been here so many times now. Used to go once a week, then I moved so I don't go there as often. But definitely been there dozens of times.
Food
I like the food a lot. Tex-Mex. I've tried many different plates now and I really like almost all of them, and the portions are generous too.
Service
Most of the personnel is really friendly. There's this one guy though who never ever smiles and tries to pass it off as cool. Then when he brings you the check he tells you shit like "I've got a family to feed" so you'll give him a bigger tip, tries to make it like a cool joke but it's just really annoying. He offered us a "glass of water" to go with the wine (in Switzerland it's pretty common that they'll serve you a glass of tap water when you order wine), then brought us two bottles of water, even though it was clearly implied we just wanted a glass of tap water. It's a silly trick to get you to spend more, but this guy ruins the mood anyway so we usually don't stay for drinks after eating. We try to avoid him every time we go, all of the other ones that served us so far have been really very nice and always in a good mood!
Prices
The prices are really appropriate considering the quality and the quantity of the food. They do this silly thing though where they charge you extra for some things. Like if you order fajitas it comes with three little sauces, then if you want more sauce you have to order that separately and pay one or two bucks on top. It's sooo annoying! It's the kind of bullshit you expect at McDonald's, but for a restaurant that's so weird. If you really need those extra two dollars, just charge more for the plate and then serve me the food you know I want. Again, plate sizes are generous, so why be so cheap with the sauces? I don't get it, pretty ridiculous. They do the same thing with the hamburger. Charge you extra for cheese, bacon and whatever like it's a fast food chain.
If it weren't for that one guy and their cheap pricing system, I would definitely give this place four stars. read more
