I have a 1906 Ansonia Regulator clock I took to Bob for repair and refurbishing. In my opinion he did an excellent job. Like others it took a long time. After taking a 132 year old clock to Bob for a total rebuild of the movement the clock never ran totally right. Initially, I had to wait about a year to get it back. With in a short time I have it back because it kept stopping. Took all but another year to get it back and was charger 132.80 for a cleaning. Short time after I got it back it still stopped now and then. So, back it went. It took about six months this time to get it back only because I kept hounding him on when I was getting it back. This all started back in the end of 2013 and to this day it still stops. I emailed him asking him if he'll look at it again and I mentioned I hope it doesn't take another year to get it back. I received a reply asking why the negativity and he is surprised I want to bring it back to him. Well hello, he is supposed to be one of the best and is a curator for the National Watch & Clock Museum in Columbia. I replied to his email saying he worked on it and he should fix it since I already have over $551 in the clock ($418.70 for the rebuild of the works). He now is blowing me off. worst clock repair in lititz, I took my grandfathers clock gears there to be repaired in the beginning of November &had no response for two months I called &found out they never started it. I was so fed up I told them to box up the parts and I will pick them up and take them somewhere else, I got there and told them I was very disappointed in them, their reaction was that's the way it goes. they call this a business now its time to let the Lititz better business know this is what is going on in their district. read more
