I was 8 miles away, so that is hugely convenient. I could work from home while they had the car. They also don't guilt you into tipping after. I brought in a very dirty vehicle for an estimate, it was nasty, even sticky in some places, but they got to see it before the quote, so it wasn't a surprise. I expected to pay a lot, but not as much as they quoted. I hesitated when I heard the price, but then I figured well, they have a good rep on Yelp, and the car needs it badly, and they'll ferry me back and forth. OKAY. In general, the car was much cleaner when I got it back. The outer door frames were wiped clean. The rugs and upholstery got vacuumed and shampooed, my guess would be twice, and the plastic was wiped down using some kind of interior cleaning product. They threw away the trash they found. They washed the outside even though I didn't care about that or pay for it. But there's a reason this is called DETAILING. It's because they're supposed to pay attention to the details and clean every little thing. That's where they fell short. The pictures tell the story of what they missed. The rubber mats looked like they were hosed down but not actually cleaned and scrubbed. The windshield and rear-view looked like a little kid cleaned it with a dirty rag. The door pockets had hair, dirt, grime and trash in them, even though you could tell they got a superficial wipe. There was a lot of grime left in a lot of places. I didn't notice these things until I got home, and I didn't call back to complain. I'm sure they would have fixed it had I gone back, but who has the time for that? Not me. It probably took me less time to correct what had not been done well than it would have to drive round trip and wait. So I did it myself. I would say the car got cleaned but it did not get detailed. Between the work the both of us did, I'm very happy with how the car turned out. It would have been five stars if I didn't have to finish cleaning the car myself. It's still not detailed, but it's very clean. I can live with it. All in all, it was an okay job. Three stars. Probably worth between half to three quarters of what I paid. If I were the owner of this shop, I think I'd create some checklists for my crews to use and add a quality control inspection step before the customer gets to see the vehicle. Definitely some training too. Apparently, not everybody knows how to clean a car well or when to trade in your dirty towel for a clean one or how to tell if you're done cleaning or not. A second set of eyes with a checklist would go a long way. I don't think you have to avoid this place. But if you're going to get your car detailed here, bring a white glove with you when you pick up the car, and use it to inspect the work. Expect to stay a while longer while they fix what you find.

I sent a message through Yelp on a Saturday morning and was answered right away by Harris. I told him what I was looking for and he sent me a pricing sheet so I knew up front what I was going to be charged. Harris had appointments available the next day, but I opted for a Monday appointment. The communication, appointment set-up and payment were extremely easy and very convienent. Harris came to my work Monday afternoon and was able to tackle the beast in a few hours. I am overall pleased with the work Harris was able to do on my car because it needed A LOT of attention between the dog hair/slobber and me not keeping up with normal everyday dust/dirt. However, I will say there were some places that didn't receive great attention or were looked over. Mostly the windows weren't cleaned to their full extent. They were left very streaky and parts of the some of the windows were hard to see out of at times. Also there were two spots in the car where it looked like he had sprayed some cleaner and then not gone back to wipe it off. Based on there install I would grade the quality of the work on my installation a "C". If you are particular about you vehicle whether it be a weekend or special occasion vehicle or a daily driver and you are only concerned about getting your car wrapped then this company is fine. However if you are looking for a professional and clean installation of PPF on your vehicle that allows your paint to shine through this is not the place. My installation has dozens of spots of contamination under the wrap the reads through the film, it also has a number of areas where the edges of the wrap were not wrapped properly. I have not driven the car or washed it since I picked it up 3 weeks ago and I am still experiencing edges coming undone. I also am finding poor alignment of the film and lines in the film. If your looking for a place to apply film, make sure they have a dedicated location that is clean and free of airborn contamination as these guys do not. I now have to go elsewhere to have this poor installation corrected. The owner is a nice enough guy but quality of work is not up to standards for individuals who are particular about there vehicles.

I asked an expert acquaintance (a high-end body work / painter), who gave me extensive advice about what I should look for in an installer. So I looked far and wide, and each person/company said something off-base with what my expert told me. But then I found Peter, who happened to be right around the corner from me! In talking to Peter initially, he walked me through all the relevant points, and without prompting said exactly what my expert told me I should look for, including offering me a chance to look at the shop in person (which is also something my expert advised). Most importantly, I couldn't be happier with the result - I get compliments on its looks constantly. Their restrooms are for the most mart spotless; a welcome change vs most of the locally owned stations! They always have a wide range of choices of snacks to satisfy any short term hunger and the best selection of fountain beverages (in particular cold tea both Sweetened and my choice un-sweetened ) .
