We drove for four hours to come visit the park and see the local art installations there - the troll, rabbit, and mammoth. But instead we were turned away at the gate because the ENTIRE park was closed for a concert. The attendant was none too polite about it either. "Oh, you can just come back tomorrow"... well, we can't. And probably neither can the cars behind us from Tennessee and Kansas. This is a big new event, and we had no notice about the closure. It's Midwest skiing, not Colorado, but these guys have done a great job of making the most of what nature has given. Alpine, Nordic, tubing, and biking, it has a little bit of everything along with top notch rentals and facilities. read more

Impressed with their COVID response. Capacity is limited so you purchase lift tickets online, they only let a few people inside the building at a time, food was all outside, getting our rentals was socially distanced and they sanitized the area between customers, and the lift line was arranged in a fan so we were separated. There were some jerks who would take off their masks, but it was mostly enforced and also less crowded with the limited capacity. This was a stark contrast to the bigger Andes Tower Hills, where I would not recommend going this year. read more

Nothing special if you're used to "big mountain" skiing, but it's so nice to be able to scratch the ski itch so close to Fargo. Honestly better than what I expected. I do hope the prices come down once the newness wears off. read more

Great place close to Fargo! Very clean and nice! Newer equipment to rent. I'm glad it re-opened to have something close to the FM area.

Skiing is pretty good for the Midwest. The mountain biking is fun using the lift, but doesn't match up well with other free trails not too far away. read more

Fun place to go that's close to the FM area. We went skiing on 12/31 and the staff and bartenders were friendly. The trails were good but kinda icy due to all the rain we had. Probably need to spread out their ski patrol though...they were all in groups whenever I saw them. I took a fall on blue run and a kid came up behind me and sprayed me with snow. Maybe could prevent some of that if the ski patrol was monitoring more. read more

Lovely lodge, and great place to learn to downhill ski. Also nicely groomed Nordic skiing trails.
