I too have had an awful exsperiance trying to buy a car from this garage and dealing with this trader called Geoff Pearson, stay right out of the way of this garage do NOT buy from here!! I found a Porsche 911 here £26000 bit high mileage but had everything on it I wanted, we first arranged a viewing in Chichester which is where he owns a second home and said he would drive down from London so I could view. On the morning I got stuck in traffic but still was 20 mins from the time we arranged to meet so I text him to say stuck I traffic if you havnt left home yet leave it 20 mins! I then got a phone call saying he's had to go back to London as he had a problem! So I'm still sitting in 4 miles of traffic no where to turn off and now nothing at the end of it GREAT!!! So waisted morning plus got up early for this, I work nights so getting up early was a struggle. On the phone I said I would like to get the car inspected he told me this wasn't a problem and he would rectify any problems found by the inspector. I contacted Peter Morgan a Porsche specialist inspector who charges £340-£370 for this service he told me under no circumstances will he do an inspection at this garage due to Geoff being rude and u welcoming and not agreeing with the faults found!!! When he had done an inspection there before. I was willing to make my own mind up and try someone else I found another London Porsche garage that said he will go and inspect for me not knowing at this time this was a garage that Geoff was going to recomend to me! I emailed Geoff just to get reassurances from him that before I spend the cash out in an inspection he would assure me again like he did the previous Friday he would rectify any faults found this was the reply I got back by email:- Hi cannot imagine they will find anything wrong with the car,Cannot say we will agree with everything the inspector says! and you are asking me to offer unfair agreement and open cheque book to someone i have never heard of!! So now we have someone going back on there word and who preys on the people not getting inspections done. I did point out if he had and confidence in the cars he sells thus wouldn't be a problem he also emails me the following about Peter Morgan the Porsche Specialist inspector :- Peter Morgan has ruined so many sales for lots of potential Porsche customers he charges excess amounts of money for little comfort to the buyers and alienated the dealers.If i had known this was your inspector it would have saved a lot of time.
