The location of this town is central to the story of the engineering marvel of the line, Steilrampe, between Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg to Marketschotgast. The result is one answer to the difficult terrain. Only a 1.5 hr train ride from Nuremberg, this location is now a sleepy area. The placrds describing the locomotives are both in German and English.
