VEGAN REVIEW Loved my lunch at this little place that looked closed at first sight. The girl knew her menu so well, it took her a few seconds to offer me best vegan options. Had the okras. Now, I generally dislike okras and found myself transported to heaven!!! Am generally Gluten-free too but cheated to an another flat bread than naan. Forgot the name but this one is vegan (did you know there was milf and cream in Naan?!!!). Anyway, I recommend. Authentic indian cuisine. The lentil soup is simply sublime ! I look forward to it every single time I am in town and it does not disappoint. Aloo-gobhi (cauliflower-potatoes) is delicious too. Was in the mood for some Indian food. I ordered for pick up. When I got to the place there is lots of room for parking and public transit was available with a few minute walk. The restaurant looks like a family business that focuses on the food and the decor was simple and plain. Food that we had Tandoori chicken leg. This is one of my favorite foods. Was super excited to try it. The chicken was super cold and did not have much flavors. Chicken was dry. Was very disappointed with it Next dish was shahi paneer The sauce was very thick with and lumpy but the flavors were there . Nice size portion Chicken tikka masala The chicken was over cooked and very dry. However the sauce was bang on with the right flavors and perfect amount heat. The packaging of the food was clean and in spill proof containers which is a nice plus . I would try it again because they were super busy and probably were rushing the food out . This place is FIREEEEE. !!!! I was in the mood for some Indian food and came across this delicious restaurant on UberEats so the service is not applicable.. I ordered some of my favourites that I usually get somewhere else. The food here is amazing you will not regret it!! I never saw them on Uber eats so I suppose they just started. I ordered some Shahi Paneer, some chicken tikka masala and lamb ,.... The flavours hit the spot they were so fresh and so juicy I totally recommend it!! The Shahi Paneer tasted homemade even the cheese itself I believe is homemade because the texture was so different from where I usually buy it store bought!! It's such an amazing hidden gem of a restaurant ! I'll definitely be ordering from here again soon. I'm so happy I live nearby because they turn me into a regular customer. Excellent Indian food! We were a large group of 13 people and they accommodated us without any problems. They are a large selection of meat and vegetarian dishes and their service was very fast. We live in ile Perrot since 2012 and never went to this spot. So we gave it a chance. Service: the people were extremely nice. I'm a vegan, and the woman was very hospitable and gave me extra vegan options and suggestions. They even brought the food out for us as we were waiting for our take out. Food: AMAZING. I had the chickpeas with rice and roti. Divine. I even had the mango juice. I've been hooked ever since Atmosphere: very clean and homey. Overall: love it. Definitely will go again. read more

Excellent Indian cuisine served up in a nondescript converted house off the main strips on Ile Perrot. Like many restaurants of this type or category, you aren't going here for seductive ambiance, but rather the food (confirmed by the fact it does a brisk takeout business, at a 10% discount, to boot). The menu is expansive but the offerings are all fairly unique in terms of seasoning, type to type - curries will be distinct from vindaloos which will be distinct from kormas, which is how it should be - and they will adjust the heat/spice level on any given dish to your preference. Be sure to give their mulligatawny soup, channa somosa, and chicken tikka a try, as all are standouts and very good values for what you get. I haven't really had a dud dish yet, so couple that with the overall affordable prices and quality of ingredients used, and that merits full marks in my book. read more

Although the decor is simple, this little gem makes amazing Indian food! My husband is Indian so he knows... our 2 yr old daughter loves the butter chicken (we ask for it mild for her and they accommodate ). Do not be intimidated by the underwhelming outside, it's a good food spot. the building looks almost residential, but it has a nice themed dining room. My little sister and I stopped here on the way home from a trip to Montreal, and we were very happy we did. We each got a different lamb curry, and the portions were perfect. Subtly flavored, expertly made. Better than the Indian food I've had in Manhattan and equal with that in Queens. Driving through the area, we found this restaurant and ordered carry-out. The mint sauce had a little extra kick to it; the samosas were light; my cauliflower was fresh and the seasoning had depth. Can't wait to be in the area again so we'll have an excuse to eat the lovely food, and this time we'll eat on the porch.The service was amiable. Excellent value. Amazing butter chicken, friendly and good staff. I have eaten the Samosas,Chilli Chicken,Chicken Curry, Fish pakora,Vegetable Pakora, Tandoori chicken leg,basmati rice,freshly hand made naan breads. The dipping sauce with samosas is a tamarind sauce and the other one is a green sauce very interesting herbal flavour and spice. As a chef i can tell its home made and made with love. I always go to "Dev" and when you pick up your food you get 10% off and i usually call in my order and when i get there its all nicely packages and ready in a box. Amazing place! read more

Indian food is never cheap, but Dev seems to hit a mostly okay mix between quality and price. I've only had an issue once, and that was due to the website advertising a special that they would not order in store (on a lunch special). Ask for traditionally spiced dishes for the best stuff! read more
