He, Corrine, and his team were so attentive, responsive, and (emotionally) supportive through the entire process. lol. It can be overwhelming creating and rolling out a business, but with their support, I felt so at ease with each step. They had great recommendations, listened to my vision, and carried it out for me. With edits, I was able to ask for feedback or make adjustments easily and it was effortless! I would highly recommend Daniel and his team to anyone who needs a team, builder, or ongoing marketing support. He's very experienced and just a great team to work with altogether. Thank you Daniel, Corinne, and team! So very appreciated!

After a referral from a friend who had a great experience, I reached out to D-Kode and could not have been happier. The process was quite smooth and many relevant questions were addressed in their design questionnaire. They were able to set up all the features I was looking for including an Instagram reel and online booking for my clients. Jennifer made a site that I am proud to share with my friends, family and clients. Daniel was extremely responsive, especially when I needed last minute help before the launch. Thanks D-Kode for a wonderful experience.

Unfortunately, I have had quite a negative experience with Cambria Corporation. I own a relatively…read moresmall/niche website mostly using HTML & PHP, and recently contracted them to make some updates to the site. Cambria uses developers in the US, and in the Philippines - my experience has been with the group located in the latter - since their rates are lower. However, while the rates may seem attractive, the quality of work and communication are poor, and you may end up spending a lot more, taking a lot longer, and being very frustrated and disappointed. In addition to this, they seem to have high turn over in their staff, and they will shamelessly charge you for getting new developer's up to speed, which is quite appalling. As if that is not enough, unbelievably, they also decided to go over the original estimate without any warning, and considered some of the work 'out of scope' relative to the original estimate, but never re-quoted the job, so this was a complete surprise unti I received the bill. In fairness, they did end up admitting their fault and only charged for what was originally estimated. In summary, do yourself a favor and stay well away from Cambria Corporation for your software development needs.

Over the years, we have made many changes and updates to our system. During that time, I have mostly worked with two long term employees / programmers throughout all those years with additional support from others as needed. They are very supportive and provide excellent support with a fast response time. They are also fair and reasonable if any issues in or outside of the scope of work do come up. I think issues are a pretty common fact over the course of custom programming work so it's all about the communication. They are good to work with. I also use Cambria for my web and IT needs as we are a small business and don't need full time support. They have a knowledgable staff and great response time. They can either be onsite quickly or handle issues over the phone or even over the internet. Very convenient! I know and trust Cambria with my computer programming and IT needs.

Not the getting-paid part, but the having to sit there and listen to the same thing over and over and over again. Except that it's not exactly the same. They pipe in different static and background noise, and you're supposed to rate the clarity of the voices. I'm not making this stuff up. This was the extent of my recent "listening test" at Audience last month. Doing usability studies and product tests and focus groups and informational interviews isn't terribly interesting, but if you're as dorky as I am, it can be fascinating. It's kind of like people-watching, except that instead of watching people in public you're watching them at work. I had one of the weirdest jobs in the world for four years; so it's always surprising to see how normal, boring, and safe most people's jobs are. They can also be horribly sterile and corporate and faceless, but that can be enlightening as well. My main problem with my experience here is that it didn't pay very much. Sure, it's nice to get paid $45 in cash for what amounts to an hour-and-a-half of "work," but I just got paid $100 in cash to comment on a website for fifty minutes. Would I do another listening test here? Sure. Oh, and the company itself is involved with cellphones somehow. Not surprising, but it was interesting how many people worked here. It looks much smaller from the outside than it is.
