Their web site was easy to use and allowed me to reserve the unit with no problems less than 12 hours before pickup. The pricing was straightforward and transparent. The unit was clean and in top working order. The lady at the front desk and the workmen were very nice and helpful, even to the point of having rolls of quarters available to buy so that I could clean off the mud at the nearby self service car wash before returning the unit. I highly recommend getting the GPS tablet, which made it a stress-free day since I always knew where I was on the trails.

We were closely monitoring the weather and had a reservation for Friday. The weather did not appear to be in our favor so we contacted Amber. She was such a doll! She agreed that Thursday would be our best option and since she had availability she rescheduled us. We arrived at 8am and after a safety brief, she provided a highlighted map of where we needed to go. It took us about 5 hours to complete our mission, so much fun. Butch (owner) was top notch, and answered all our questions quickly and handled any issues. Common area is huge and well stocked with comfortable furniture and eating areas, large bathrooms and spotless kitchen were both great We had one tiny issue with hot water in the showers but we got that handled quickly. There is a powerful hose located next to a expanded metal deck to wash machines off.

The air conditioning was out on the third day. The electricity went out and spoiled all of the food that we were cooking the whole time we were there. My son was making videos of the rats that were coming out from underneath the sink and going around the cabinet and eating our dog food and then whenever we left there we got an additional $300 cost and getting rid of all of the bed bugs that we got while we received while we were staying in their cabins. I have made several attempts to reach out to the company to get some kind of refund for our stay and the arrogant owner or his staff never even took the time to call us back. They laughed on our face and told us they would not give us any kind of refund and if we don't come back they don't care. Unfortunately, sometimes when you travel from Texas all the way up to like West Virginia and you don't know anybody. You don't know who to choose and we made the worst choice we could have. There are other companies out there that have amazing people and they take care of their people. I just wish we would have chosen differently. The only thing good about our experience was the young lady that cleaned and service the units. Her name was Sissy. She was an amazing and she tried to help us the best she could. But when you work for a company that's in control she had no control but she tried so. Thank you Sissy........... P.S. The only reason I gave this company a one star. The back ramp turns into a porch that looked out over a nice drop to a wide open view of the mountains with a crest of sunset. Having thier own gas station made easy go on the sxs. One day we did over 90 miles, of which 15 were on the road. Heard they now have a trail head that goes to Kentucky. If you like Windrock then it's worth looking here. We ride Florida, however it's great to enjoy all of America off road.

We got this last-minute trip planned but unfortunately there was no space open at our regular cabins so we looked online and found Southern gap adventures. Boy are we so happy that we did. The people are friendly and the cabins are very nice- as nice or nicer as the other place. The best part of all was the spearhead trail system you ride from the outdoor adventure area right onto the trails how many miles of trails- More than 150 miles worth of awesome well-kept trails, and more are being built This year. The new trails are in much better shape than the other place and there are more challenging trails will still being blue and the whole group able to ride and have a lot of fun. Riding on the spearhead trail system you can go into the town of hazy and visit the breaks interstate park or you can ride into the town of Grandy where there is a convenient Walmart, ABC store, gas, and a few good places to eat. purchased yearly trail passes for $10 more than the other place and that is not due to Southern gap adventures but because Buchanon county only gives residency discounts to those who live in the county. I thought the price was high but then I remembered that our last trip to Busch Gardens was $60 a person and I had four days of awesome fun riding these trails. As far as Sellitti's there are camping spaces very nice large bathhouse and cabins which have their own bathrooms, and a small kitchenette. The beds were comfortable and we stayed in the winter in the heat work very well. Looking around the property we can see that there's an area for mud pits and the lodge has a very large great room which could be used for a good party if your riding club decided to come up here for their yearly meet up. If you have four wheeling and you love riding all day on well-maintained trails and staying in the camping area or a cabin hosted by really friendly people at really reasonable prices then I really strongly suggest that you give Southern gap adventures a try. It's only 20 miles away from the other place.

We all had a wonderful time. It rained most of the day, but that made it even more fun. They also have a really nice camp area with very clean bath houses and showers. The staff is very friendly. We had a tire blow out on a trail and they were very helpful to get us back up and running again. We will be back here for sure. Highly recommend anyone check them out.
