I want to start off by saying that I have lived here for 3 yrs and I am still currently Living here. I have had nothing but great experiences throughout. Mellisa is very welcoming, personable, attentive, fair and keeps an open door open for communication. The staff is very friendly. Todd, Blake and Derek who are the maintenance crew have always been very efficient and timely when I needed something fixed in my apartment. I enjoy living here in this community. read more

What a nightmare. I have lived in apartments over 41 years of my life and this is one of the worst. The 1st clue should have been the sign out front stating they have luxury apartments and the sign is ready to fall apart. The pool is now out of commission for 2 seasons. The floors squeak in the apartments. The roofs make noise. You can hear your neighbors talking. The manager hasn't a clue what she is doing. Totally out of her job grade here. She is totally unorganized and if you need something repaired or replaced....you are looking at weeks if not months to get it done. Don't waste the money. We moved to Danville for work and wasn't from the area. Devonshire Village is one of only a few fairly average apartments in the area. It is overpriced especially considering the limited upgrades. They respond adequately to most requests, however, are slow to take accountability (if they take it at all). One such example of this is: I subscribed to internet/cable service when I'd initially moved in and it worked just fine; without notice it stopped working. After the cable provider came for a service visit he informed me the cables in the walls had gone bad and it was the apartments responsibility to fix it. After going back and forth for nearly two months between the cable provider and Devonshire Village, the apartment complex admitted the problem was on their end. Unfortunately, it was only after all that time, their solution was giving me permission to hire an electrician at my own expense to solve the problem. This was an awful remedy and poor customer service response to an issue that was solely the fault of Devonshire Village. read more
