I hired AD Property Services for a project involving weeding, laying landscape fabric, mulching, and edging. Upon completion, I was assured the job was finished according to the agreed-upon scope, and I paid the job in full. Unfortunately, this was not true. Upon reviewing the work shortly after, I discovered that landscape fabric had been completely omitted under approximately 75% of the mulched areas. Because the initial weeding was also superficial and the weed barrier was missing, weeds began aggressively pushing through the fresh mulch within days. When I brought this to his attention, he refused to take responsibility, claimed the fabric was only intended for "select areas" (which was never agreed upon), and stood by the incomplete work rather than offering to rectify it or issue a partial refund. Even after I offered him a full 5-day window to attend the property to inspect the work himself, he failed to do so. Falsely claiming a job is complete to collect full payment, omitting key materials, and failing to rectify clear deficiencies is completely unacceptable service. I am now forced to hire another contractor to strip the mulch, lay the missing fabric, and redo the job, as well as pursue formal legal remediation in Small Claims Court. read more
