Ordered an 8$ bottle of wine and paid 38$ for a different kind that they ended up bringing. Never. Again.

I ordered at 7:50 tonight and was told it would be a 45 minute wait. It is now 9:45pm. I have texted, called and emailed and nobody has acknowledged them. This company is a scam! Dont use them!! read more

The person on the phone was good but the guy who delivered was terrible. He called me a asshole, racist because I ordered a 15 pack of 1 beer instead of a 8 pack of 1 beer. I called the company but I got shrugged off and I refuse to use this service again. The driver wanted to fight me because he got my order wrong but he didn't have the balls to do it. This is the worst service ever. I recommend buying your liquor and or beer first before using them. read more

This service is terrible. Honestly, I ordered at 7:30 tonight and it's 10:30 now... nothing. They close all lines at 10, on regular days, so you can't speak with anyone. This isn't the first time they just never showed up, but honestly, if you have people over and you just want to add extra stock. Not a service you can depend on. To be honest, I will never order from them again. Sometimes it takes them more than 2 mins to pick up an actual call, just to check and see about your order. Just another bad service to add to Toronto's stock of bad services. read more

Terrible service and sketchy to say the least. It took them 3x the amount of time to deliver than they said when I called. They made me email transfer them the money, no debit machine. Tax avoidance scam at best stay away!! read more

I had the misfortune of deciding to call this company while I was staying in a hotel in Calgary on the weekend of June 16, 2017. The initially told me that the delivery would be around 45 minutes. I placed my order and was not advised of price. I asked then to make sure that the wine was cold on delivery. After several calls and close to 2 hours later they arrived at my hotel door. The wine was warm but the driver tried to tell me that the "guy" had got it out of the freezer. The driver then advised me of the price for delivery and wine. The combined total was $78.00 for 2 bottles that normally retail around $15.00 each. The driver called someone and was advised that they supposedly paid $38.00 for the wine and the delivery charge was at least $20.00. I refused to pay and returned the bottles to the driver. I have never felt so ripped off by a company before. read more

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.................., I'm very shocked at the service I received this afternoon ON A MONDAY AFTER NOON. I called in to inquire about my order cause it seemed as if it was taking FOREVER (when it usually comes very quick or at a decent time frame), the CSR said it's only been 45mins and it should be about 15mins more, so I waited 30mins more patiently. I couldn't wait anymore, so I called in to cancel. Five minutes after calling in to cancel, the delivery lady called me stating she was on her way, I told her my order is cancelled. She had the nerves to tell me "next time call the call center and cancel" which was very rude to assume that I didn't do so from get go. It's not my job to do the liaison work to try to track down the driver, find out where she is and cancel. My responsibility (as a customer) is to call in to cancel my order, and that's what I did. I shouldn't have to tell her to call the call centre to realize that's exactly what was done. She should've called (or I should've gotten a call) exactly an hour to state I'd have to be waiting an extra half hour for God knows what reason. My dinner was put on hold waiting for my beverages. Tonight's service left a bad SHOCKING taste it my mouth, but at least I save myself from spending $80+$10 del chrge + $5 tip on bad service. I don't know what cut backs you Dial A Bottle is facing, but it's not going well with me as a regular customer. When I get the bad taste out of my mouth, I'll try to order again from them, if the same thing happens twice in a row, go to the lcbo myself. read more
