This company cares about working safe, meeting schedules, and putting out good work. They have had a large turnover of workers. They seem to be having difficulty finding good workers that can produce quality work. The company does give training and many chances to improve as an employee. They also dismiss workers who don't want to be better, or who show up late, call out frequently, and miss work without notification.

My husband and I purchased a Sunesta awning from Paul Construction for $10,000 two years ago, and…read morewe are now having trouble getting it to extend properly. The problem appears to be with the arm, a moving part connected to the assembly brackets. When the awning retracts, it clicks and locks into place, and it will not open again without assistance. When I contacted Paul Construction to request warranty service, I was told I would have to pay a fee just to have someone inspect the issue. I offered to send photos and a video to help with diagnosis. Pete, who answered the phone, was rude and disrespectful and told me more than once that he does not get paid enough to talk to customers. Although he agreed to review the photos and follow up, I never heard back. After I called every day for three days, RJ answered and had no idea what I was referring to, but said someone would call me back. When Pete eventually returned my call, he also claimed he did not know what I was talking about, despite our conversation two days earlier. He stated that I must have misunderstood the owner. The owner may be a smooth salesperson, but when it comes to warranty support, this company has been extremely disappointing. They do not stand behind their warranty. If I had known this is how Paul Construction treats its customers, I never would have purchased this awning from them. The awning came with a lifetime warranty, and I am attaching the document the owner provided. I am sharing my experience to warn others: if you are considering this company, do yourself a favor and choose a different awning installer. My husband and I regret choosing Paul Construction.
