Rude staff at the Pro shop. We booked our tee time a little late for 7 players so the only available time is 309 and 327. I initially check in for 3 players and the rest of the group check in individually. The second individual that checked in ask the staff how many groups between our tee time and he states 2 groups. As he came back to our table, we are trying to figure out what is the time interval for each flight. Without my knowledge, the second individual from our group ask the same question and told the same thing. 2 groups between us. Since we still have time, i went back to the pro shop to buy some range ball and for the first time I ask the staff to clarify what is the time interval of each flight. He was upset and answered rudely that i was the 3rd person that ask the same question and again 2 groups in between. He instructed me to send the 4th person from our group to ask him the same question. As I walk away, he said behind my back "Oh my God". I know he was upset for me asking the same question. But at the same time, i think because he was trying to have someone play out of the schedule between our tee time. To add to this situation, when the second group tried to get the keys for the golf cart, he was trying to add a 5th player to us. I guess they are letting people they know to play without a schedule. Game was behind schedule. Took more than 20 minutes per hole. At 445 we barely finished the 4th hole. I called the pro shop to check the pace of play and states that there were no Marshall on duty and thats how it is specially on weekend. read more

Kudos to Diamond Bar staff. I had a small 28 man tournament last week. I forgot my range finder on the golf cart. I discovered it was missing a week later when I was playing golf at my golf course. I called Diamond Bar to report a missing Rangefinder and they had found it and turned it in. It's Nice that honestly is still alive and well in places. For a driving range this place is kind of OK. Not that I can be picky with driving ranges that are super close. Being used to the driving range at Santiago in Irvine it's a lot less crowded but it feels like you're getting a lot of service. It's a bit of a hike to get to and from the range and be prepared to buy tees if you're using your driver. Also be warned the ball machine Is hidden next to the pro shop to the right it took me a minute to figure that out. read more

This course is has pretty open fairways which make it harder for you to lose your ball. Staff has been friendly and I like how we ran into the Marshall twice while we played our 18-hole. Pace of play was good, we didn't feel rushed and we got through the course in the normal 4-5 hours. The greens fees weren't too bad, $50 for the weekday mornings and I think $60 for the weekend mornings. This course is expected to undergo a huge remodel within the next few years so plan on coming now while you can before it gets redone. read more

Pace of play was terrible. Almost a 6 hour round. To the old groups in front of us all round. Stop waiting for the green to clear when you're 200 yards out. Your drives didn't go 200 yards. Stop searching for your errant tee shot for 10 minutes then mark your ball once you finally make it to the green. Pace of play! Marshall needs to tell these kind of groups to keep it moving. We literally waited in every hole and could see no one on the greens behind these groups. Greens were all punched as they just reopened so there's a pass there. read more

There's only one course here and compared to some of the other options in the area, it's decent. The course is relatively easy as the fairway is pretty wide. It's well kept as well, so it's a good option in the area. People here are generally nice too. The one thing I'm not a big fan of is the fact that this course is next to the highway. You get a lot of pollution here, and you can definitely smell it on some holes. It's also really loud so if you're playing with anyone and trying to talk, it can get loud with all the cars. I'd recommend wearing your mask all the time just so you don't have to breathe in the pollution. There's a par 3 where you have to hit the ball over the water up the hill onto the green. Both times I've seen a lot of little ducks on the hill. As a result, there's a lot of poop. So be careful when you're walking in this area if you didn't hit your ball quite on the green. Pro tip: as of today, if you share a cart with a player, both of you get a free beer. Just let the pro shop know. read more

We had my daughter's bridal shower this past weekend. Lindsey was my planner and she was 5 stars. She always made herself available and made great suggestions. The day was hot but since we stayed in doors it was perfect inside. The venue was clean and beautiful. Our server was professional and helpful. The most important thing was my daughter was very happy and pleased with her shower. The only reason i did not give 5 stars was because there was plenty of food left over and i wanted to take with me. If i may suggest, let people sign a waiver and take it home instead of throwing the extra food away. But otherwise, everything was wonderful! read more

Golf course is pretty challenging if you're a weekend hacker like myself. Several holes have wide fairways and you can really let loose and try to bomb it down the middle. There are also several dog legs and some holes that are pretty narrow and challenging. The bad thing about this place is that it is always busy. Every time I come here, I have to wait on every hole and that gets pretty frustrating. If you want a more relaxed golfing experience, drive a little further out and go to el prado in chino hills or even royal vista down the street in Rowland heights. read more

We had our wedding at the Diamond Bar Golf Course this past weekend, and I can't even think of the right words to describe how AMAZING it was from beginning to end! See pictures attached of the beautiful venue outside and inside. My event planner at DBGC, Courtney Urquiza, made the planning process the easiest, most seamless process, and made me feel like one of her best friends. She truly cared about us, our day, and making sure we had everything and anything we wanted or needed. All of this at an incredibly reasonable cost. And bonus, the food was delicious!!! 0/10 and here is why. My 18 y/o son and husband had a very disappointing experience at this course. He had booked a tee time and paid the $10 deposit then was not going to play (because he didn't want to play alone) but on top of losing the deposit this course charges a $10 cancellation fee even if you cancel within the 48 hour window like their policy states. So he decided to play since the tee time was only $45 and didn't want to lose the $20. My husband said he go and keep him company and watch like we've done at every other course. When my husband (who wasn't golfing) and him show up for the tee time, they are told that there is a no spectator policy. We've been to many golf courses through out CA and NV and we have never been told there is a no spectator policy. I have looked everywhere on their website and cannot find any fine print that states that there is a no spectator policy (help me find it if it's there). My son doesn't want to golf alone with people he doesn't know so they decided to leave. Not only was this an upsetting situation, they drove 35 min to get there and the person who helped them was NOT nice or even empathetic to the situation. We tried calling and again were simply told it's our policy, no spectators. My suggestion is to be really sure you can make your tee time so you don't get charged $20 and understand there is a no spectator policy in place. Maybe the golf course can add that to their website in big bold letters. read more

Played this course this past weekend and do yourselves a favor and stay away during the weekend. Took us over 3.5 hours to play the front 9 and waited a good 15 minutes on the 8th hole with 3 groups ahead of us. It was over crowded and there are a lot of people that walk the course which takes that much longer. Had a tee-time of 11:32, the group behind us were at 12 but were on our butts from the get go even asking "wheres the Marshall?" before we had even teed off. The course itself was super nice. Well maintained and the views are beautiful. For what we paid ($55 a person) and how long it took, I don't think i'll be back (on the weekend especially) but it was fun playing the one time. Driving range is nice with plenty of bays. The food court is awesome! Quality food for a reasonable price. read more

for some reason, i had blown off this course as an easy course because it didnt' have many out of bounds. If you hit it bad, you're usually in the other fairway. However, this course is long which makes recovery shots difficult. I guess that's why this course is more on the difficult end. Otherwise, it's mostly flat and easy. i can't recommend playing here though and it's for one reason alone. They allow fivesomes, and on top of that, they allow fivesomes to walk!!! WHY??? why would you allow such a thing?? you can imagine how painful it is to watch 5 people in front of you walking when you are a foursome with carts. Avoid this course! read more

Hello... I'm reviewing the venue/banquet room. It is not bad, but not spectacular either. I think that the inside of the banquet room is elegant and pretty, but the package was very mediocre. I dislike those cheap watered down kool-aid (??) fountains. Location is not the best either. I personally would not choose this place as the venue for anything I may ever plan. read more

We went here last night for a wedding for our beloved family members. We had the time of our lives. It was such an intimate and beautiful ceremony and everything was set up to the Ts. The site and location was beautiful. Service was great. Staff was knowledgeable. My husband and I are vegan and our too children were the flower girl and ring bearer (only kids at the reception) so all four of us had specialized plates and they were very fast to accommodate and the meals were great. Thinking about joining the players club? Don't. This place is a dump. The range balls are complete garbage, the range mats are completely bare, and don't even get me started on the shape of the course and greens (they match the range mats). Save your hard earned money and play at any of the other courses close by. Oh and the staff? The gals do such a great job to try to carry the team but the guys that work here are just a bunch of condescending jerks. From the guys in the pro shop to the terrible guys who manage the ball machines, they all act like a bunch of wanna be thugs instead of golf professionals. Had a tee time last Friday 11:51. We get to the golf course 30 minutes before our tee time and check in. Head down to the first tee at 11:45 and there are four groups in front of us. I ask the Marshall at the first tee what tee time is up. He says the pro shop sent these groups down and they don't have times. We explain that we have an 11:51 tee time and he just struggles his shoulders saying he has no control over it. I explain to him this is exactly why we don't play here very often even though we really like the layout. How hard is it to announce who's on the tee? It's not hard but this pro shop consistently shows little effort and thus we are always late teeing off. We ended up finishing in the dark. This was my first time playing at this course and me and a buddy walked in on a Saturday afternoon to play a twilight. We went to the starter and placed our names on a list and was called about 30-minutes prior to their advertised twilight. The starter was cool and gave us the twilight price. The course is fair but can get quite crowded. I figure if you are in "ready-golf" mode, you should have no problem. It took us almost 5-hours to finish a complete round. The pro shop is not all that. But, I figure the average person would not be there to buy anything more than tees and a packet of balls. LOL. The snack bar is just that - a snack bar. last time i was here condition was better. played here recently and condition wasn't really good. layout was whatever, but definitely a course thats suitable for walking, pretty flat here and there. for $60 weekend prime time, i'd rather go to Mountain Meadows or San Dimas GC (both 5-10 minutes away from this place), similar price but nicer layout and better maintenance. i always play during morning prime time so i dont really get to experience the slow pace of play, but i heard from friends this course has a really slow pace after mid-morning. you been warned lol. read more

Won't return. Tee'd off about 40 minutes late there were about 10 carts lined up this past Saturday around 12:20, as I said didn't tee off til 1 and only got through 13 holes. I played with 3 high schoolers that walked and I was in a cart with a buddy. Just didn't make a ton of sense. On top of that saw a Marshall one time as he drove past the 1st tee and all 20-30 people waiting to golf. The course itself I am a fan of, including the range. Sad to say I live a stones throw down the road literally a 30 second drive and considered becoming a member here before this but if this is how it is I'm not a fan. There are other local courses for the beginning/newbie once a month golfer to play at with better pace of play than here. I wish for the price range it'd be a little smoother. I'm not a good golfer by any stretch, I like to play a round with some beers and enjoy a weekend but playing here wasn't worth it to me no matter how close it is to my house. read more

This course has seriously gone downhill. I allowed myself 3.5 hours for a round today and only got 10 holes in, and that was pushing it because I couldn't see my ball for the last hole because it had gotten dark. Don't get me wrong, I understand weekend golf tends to run slow, but there were multiple fivesomes ahead of me and they were hitting multiple tee shots each. In the 3.5 hours I was on the course, I saw ZERO Marshalls...because they don't have any! I was yelling at the people in front of me to hurry up out of frustration. If you know how slow the course is moving and do nothing to improve it, then keep putting people out on the course, you're not running your course responsibly. I live down the street, so this course is convenient, but no longer worth my time. read more

I booked using Golf Now and my party arrived and paid separately and the course neglected to mark on my reservation that more than one person showed up. This place used to have some type of organization and green grass but that has been washed away by having 3-4 groups per tee box and dead grass across the entirety of the golf course. All there is, is dead patches of "grass" and dirt lining the fairways. Will not be back here anytime soon and I advise people to do the same. I played here on a Friday with my Dad. Very slow play the first few holes. We got 3 holes in and got a phone call from my mom that she was going into emergency after she got results from her Drs office. Of course we headed back to be with her. On the way out, I told the person working the pro shop what had happened, and if possible to get credit or a rain check because we had to leave and why. They were completely unsympathetic and was told flat out, "no" we cant do anything about that. You would think they would have extended an Im sorry to hear about that. Nothing. Just no. Booked DBGC for my wedding on May 4th. I had a couple of hiccups at the beginning due to staff turnover and changes that were not communicated with me. I only found out because I called directly. HOWEVER...Kelsey did an AMAZING job once she took over. She answered every phone call, question, and email I sent. She redid my proposal as many times as it took for me to ensure I saw all my options. Shout to Haley as well for helping whenever Kelsey was not around and for being there the day of the event. The place looked great, it was everything I had envisioned and more. Service and food were awesome, the drinks were on point. Wow! What a terrible experience. We tee'd of at 1:40 for a 1:30 start time so not too bad. Didn't finish the front 9 until 5:00. That's right 3.5 hours to play 9 holes. Couldn't;t take the wait so we left. I was so upset I called the GM the next day and left a message and thought he might call back and explain what went wrong. He didn't. We won't be back read more

So disappointed in this venue. We were planning an event through them and had already set up the date, but needed final paperwork. They allowed another group to come in and take our day, because they had a HUGE down payment as was told to us by the banquet person. The venue KNOWS they did wrong, because when we questioned them they offered us discounts on items which lets you know they realize they made a mistake. DO NOT GO HERE! They will sell you out to the highest bidder, without even a courtesy call to see if you still needed that date. FYI the venue smelled musty, was dusty, and the restrooms smelled like it had a sewer leak. read more

I have played at Diamond Bar golf course today and may not return to this course again. Our tea off time was 12:30 but more than 10 groups rushed at this same time zone of which ended our play at 14th hole. We have waited long time on every hole as our previous teams with 5 players. If you want to play real golf, you may find other courses in Chino Hills or else where.. Only advantage of this course is easily accessible but ruin our whole day by waiting in line every hole. We have never seen such poor tea time managements by the pro shop vs other public golf courses. If there is minus star, we would like to give it to this course. read more
