I purchased a custom built trailer in may of 2023. We used the trailer 4 times in this past year. This past week on our way home from a family trip the roof of the enclosed trailer tore off like a can opener. Prior to that there was absolutely no damage to the trailer. The roof flew off hitting a car behind us. This could have been a deadly incident luckily it wasn't. We immediately contacted the company we purchased from. We were told to go through the warranty company. We sent all necessary pictures and information to them. They immediately denied our estimates and expected us to drive the trailer back to them unsafely 980 miles away. Then they said they would pick up trailer and fix it but then we would have to drive to pick up once finished. The next day we were told that because it's been over a year from purchase that the warranty was expired. We are left with a brand new trailer roofless. Ultimately we now have to pay for any repairs moving forward. This should have never happened if the original purchase was built r"correctly. This is clearly a manufacturer defect. I do not recommend buying a trailer from this company. They do not care about anyone's safety. I will add pictures to see the damage. read more
