He did various work in our property including replacing our living room ceiling and installing new cornice - the old ceiling was taken down in February, and the work has only just been finished in October. This has meant that we haven't been able to use it for in excess of half a year. He consistently told us he would be there to finish the job, and it would be done 'this week', then never turned up. I think his record for not showing up was 4 times in one week... I advised that I would be claiming money back through VISA as the work was not finished after 7 months and we were constantly being let down, at this point Mark called aggressively shouting and swearing advising that he wanted the cornice back he had installed, then hung up (despite the fact that we had paid for it). Someone else who worked with Mark then got in touch saying they would come round to finish the work which happened after about another 2 weeks. I spent a full day cleaning up the mess left behind, with two trips to the skip, and now we have started painting, we can see that the cornice is not straight (despite a new ceiling being put in), there are several cracks and imperfections in the cornice, and some of the cornice joints are very noticeable.

We hired Morgan to do our new windows and we ended up taking him to court where the judge ordered him to pay but he has not paid anything back, he owes us just about £1500. We were left with no drainage, scratches on glass panes, damages to interior walls which they covered with wallpaper, damages to exterior walls, window frames not sealed properly, some not at all and the window sills are all different. When we told him about it and he said it would all get sorted but then he just stopped answering his phone. He has been reported to Trading Standards through Citizens Advice.

We then sought a second opinion from Scotdrain who fixed the problem on their first visit in 45 minutes for £175.00 inclusive of VAT. Would not recommend to anyone to allow this company to even provide a quotation as they will use pressure selling tactics and false promises to secure work they are not capable of doing.

Their survey was quick but detailed, and they actually discovered that some of the work we'd been told was needed wasn't necessary at all! The team carried out the repairs promptly and to a really high standard -- we're absolutely delighted with the results. Communication was excellent throughout, and the whole process was stress-free. They were extremely helpful from start to finish. At one point just before the claim was accepted, the insurers decided to go down the 'cash settlement road', which pretty much meant that they were washing their hands off me, which I was not going to stand for. Richard at Property Repair contacted the Loss Adjuster to explain my plight and shortly afterwards rang me to say all would proceed as planned. His Tradesmen all arrived in company liveried vans and wore company uniforms, they were polite and not once did I hear profanity from any of the builders, even if I did use some myself. Very Happy with Property Repair, very happy indeed! J x

Shocking cowboy! Did a job on a flat roof for my mother and never removed all the old rotting…read morefelt. The finished job was poor and was not interested in coming down to explain himself and rectify the problems. Charged in excess of £750 per day for labour for 2 men working from 10am-3pm and overcharged on materials. Now subject to a court order. I would not even recommend him to re flet a rabit hutch.
