She was attentive, listened to what I wanted, and was incredibly patient (which is so important for getting curls to cooperate!) She also started with a dry cut, which is a must for curls. Part of the treatment is a scalp massage, in a massage chair (oh yes, they also actually do wash your hair while massaging :) ) That makes you feel pretty special! The other thing they do is advising you about your hair, etc etc. This is a bit strange, as it almost feels like they want to steer you towards buying an expensive hair product. That is fine, but that was not the reason I was here :) So that's why only 3 stars, it doesn't mean they are bad at all. Disclosure: my hairdo is pretty easy, they just use the clippers at 4mm. I cannot comment on their quality were it comes to coloring, styling etc, but I can only assume that that is good too!

My friend and I arrived around 6:15pm and I could tell I was his last appointment of the day. Andy was sweet and he give an awesome hair wash and massage! Since I was cutting off a lot of hair Andy made sure I was ok with cutting off so much, he showed me several time. He was super fun and funny and we shared stories from where we are from and about Amsterdam. Andy gave me a great haircut, couldn't have asked for a better experience. A friend of mine introduced me to Michelle a while ago and that basically ended my long search for the perfect hairdresser, I never looked back. I have fairly difficult, thick hair. Michelle not only knows how to tame it, but she also regularly comes with suggestions for changes to keep my hair compatible with current trends. Always a good conversation.
