The entire process from first contact to completion was very smooth. I spoke with Peter about my needs and he scheduled an appointment for 3 days out (I had called late on a Thursday). I wasn't expecting to be able to get an appointment so quickly. Tristin and Gannon were the service technicians that completed the project. I needed to change one outlet to a 3-prong and had two outlets and a light switch that had stopped working and then started working about a week or so later. They replaced the outlets and, because they weren't grounded and didn't have a ground wire, they used two GFCIs to ensure safety and one regular outlets. They were very professional and personable, and explained everything clearly. I highly recommend this company for any electrical work that you need. For getting an EV charger installed, I had called a couple other electricians and the price they had quoted felt a little high. So I looked at Yelp and these guys were close to home and had good reviews so I called them. They picked up the phone promptly each time and later on, responded to text promptly as well. The price they quoted was lower than the other places I had called so I went with them. They ran late a few min but communicated promptly. They were friendly and easy to work with. I think they were done in 45 min, the work was clean and they showed me that it works as expected. Checked all the boxes for me and I can certainly recommend them. I recently moved to the country and wanted a generator plug installed before winter for backup power. I highly recommend Dickinson Electric Inc. for all your electric needs. I am an out of town owner selling a Beaverton condo. I had to rely on internet searches for opinions on good companies to hire for the repairs requested from a buyer. I called two electric repair companies. I sent the buyer's inspection report to each with the list of repairs. One of the items was to put anti oxidant grease on panel aluminum wires. One of the companies decided to instead bid replacing all the breakers to the tune of $1150. I have no idea why other than it was easier than applying the grease or a way to run up the cost. Their total bid was nearly $2000 and they wanted 1/2 the money up front. The second company decided not to grease the wires at all - too much trouble he said and not necessary as it was not required by code. He did not even address two other issues on the repair list and he wanted $1100. I told the buyers I would have all the issues they requested fixed so I did not want to cut corners. These companies were recommended on Yelp. Can't always rely on Yelp I found out. But you definitely can rely on this review. Thankfully I did more research and found Dickinson Electric Inc. The owner answered my call right away. He took all my information and as it was a Friday he said my job would be looked at on the following Monday. He also said he would have a fully equipped truck and if I liked the bid they could start the job same day. Wow. I was impressed. I was even more impressed by the electrician Michael who did the job. He was polite, smart, and kept me informed of his findings and took plenty of pictures as he worked. Their quote was $680 a bit more than 1/2 of the lowest bid from the company who was not even doing a full repair! Michael even went above and beyond. He noticed a blown outlet not even mentioned on the inspection report and fixed that. He changed other outlet covers that were damaged as he walked throughout the condo to do a full inspection of his own. Everything was fixed the same day. No upfront payment required. I so appreciate the great HONEST job and great CUSTOMER SERVICE. You will be happy if you call them for electric services. read more

One on of my tenants had an electrical problem. One of Dickenson's electricians arrived in less than an hour after I called, and for a modest fee quickly fixed some circuit overload problems as best he could given that the panel is old and out of date. He explained to my tenant everything he did, and called me to discuss the work he did. I had used a new space heater for a few days and then the power went off to the unit. I checked the circuit breaker and saw that it was in the 'off' position so I reset it. Still did not work; I pressed the reset GFCI button on the outlet and still no power. I contacted Peter from Dickinson Electric to schedule an appointment. But he said I'm going to ask you to do probably all the same things you did before we make an appointment. He walked me thru everything I had done but found the problem at the breaker box; I noticed the one that had been in the 'off' position yesterday was only in the 'middle' position so had to push hard to get it 'off'! I had a new washer and dryer delivered on Monday and the delivery guy said he could not install my dryer as my plug was outdated since my home is older. I had used Dickinson electric the last time I needed an electrician and they were able to come out in a few days.
