The whole team at his centrally located office was cordial and helpful. He was very good at explaining the procedure, all benefits and drawbacks and gave solid advice. Made clear what might hurt and what wouldn't. Did a great job and my teeth received the care they needed. His office is a bit dated when it comes to decor but this is irrelevant. All his equipment is modern and clean. The office is easy to find and he takes walk-ins. All follow up appointments were also simple and waiting times minimal. If you need dental surgery and don't have a recommendation yet, I highly recommend Ricardo.

Yes you read that right- if you think about it, sitting in…read morethe office of a trained medical professional and listening to them go on about your potential cavities, your poorly angled wisdom teeth, the strangeness of your jaw joints, the suspiciously dark roots of your front teeth that could imply they're dead and beyond saving, is the closest a plebeian will ever get to knowing what's happening with their body. There's a sense of security from a good doctor telling me about what all could be wrong that my worrywart soul finds some solace in. Dr. Mueller is a particularly good messenger of some amount of truth - he can speak English for those whose German is not up to medical vocabulary level, he takes his time explaining why he's going to fiddle around in your mouth, and is very, very honest. We talked about all the bad news from my x Ray together and I can't think of another dentist I'd rather be with as I confront my fate.

I was diagnosed with a…read moremedium to severe case of periodontitis. not surprising, since i had never gone to a Dentist ever and after 35 years once may be permitted to have a bit of tartar(Zahnstein!) After a rather intensive treatment of around 3 sessions most of the Calculus was removed and we moved on to the 2nd stage of taking care of the affected cavities which lasted another 7-8 sessions. In all cases her judgement calls/diagnosis was great. I've managed to hold on to nearly all my teeth (one wisdom tooth was dead on arrival.) Bettina also takes care of my 6 year old daughter and has been very patient with her during some difficult days/tooth accidents. I was at Frau Dr. and not her husband. This is a husband/wife team who run this office together…read more It's a well run business and the "good impression" begins when you enter their waiting room. Everything is clean and well designed. The staff are extremely nice and very helpful. You get an immediate smile when you walk in.....rare in Germany, especially doctor's or dentists's offices from my experience. You never have to wait (but this could have to do with the fact that I have private insurance). One way or another, they seem to pride themselves on scheduling. Not only is the dentist very nice, so is her staff and everyone whom I had contact with left a pleasant impression which is what I usually want when going to a dentist. Finally, all of the equipment seems fairly new (I am not an expert on dental technology so take that for what it is...an opinion) and nothing seems like it should be/needs to be replaced. Most importantly Frau Dr. Orcun is a very nice lady. She is very professional and takes her time in explaining what is going to be done. My teeth tend to be a bit of a nightmare so any "issues" I have with them obviously is not of her doing. As I unfortunately will most likely be at the dentist in the future, I am glad to have found one I really like in Hamburg after moving here a year ago. I had some pretty "poor" experiences with this type of search in the past in other regions of Germany. Billing is straight-forward and they very quickly sent follow up material upon request. My insurer wanted detailed billing and they were able to send it as an e-mail attachment. I am modernised to a far greater extent than most dentists/doctor's in Germany and hence can deal wtih a .pdf attachment to forward on to my insurer. Frau Dr. Orcun and her office are "with it" in terms of technology and you can actually use modern channels (e-mail) to communicate with both her and her staff. It's a minor point but important to me.
