Poor quality of work, overpriced and awful customer service - avoid…read more I'd bought a picture as a Christmas gift for Dan and we only just had it framed months later! We chose this shop as its just near to where we live and I always liked the look of the pictures in the window. This shop has a lot of choice when it comes to frames in terms of material options and colours. The quite abrupt salesman showed us how they would lay it out within the frame and it seemed ok at the time. I did think the price was steep but I assumed we would get top quality workmanship for that money and be delighted with the result. Sadly this was not the case. When we picked it up It did look very different to how the gentleman in the shop laid it out however and was a lot more closely cropped, the picture was off centre with much more white to one side than the other. I thought it was very expensive for the poor end result, the service was not friendly at all and after telling us 4 days they didn't call us for two weeks and we had to chase them up about it. Overall poor quality and awful service - do not use this shop.

Ordered 5000 folded leaflets from them as they were much cheaper than our existing supplier…read more They arrived a day earlier than expected which was a suprise and when we opened them we were very happy! The leaflets were amazing, quality as good as our old supplier and all packed and wrapped up well so there were no damaged ones to throw away (unlike with our old supplier). The colours were great and the glossy paper really makes them look great. In all a great service and good products, recommended.

My job requires me to get bulk printing done ever so often and I used to travel all the way to the university from Northern Quarter to get those done. Yesterday was one such day when I needed to get 50 flyers printed in color, I was running short of time because I needed to get them printed in a few hours. Like a very smart person I decided to look for some printing places on Yelp so that I can save time instead of going all the way to the university. I found a few places in City Centre (yay) and obviously got excited and set off for my journey. My first stop was U-Print near Piccadilly train station, I walked there just to discover that the place no longer exists (Great, I lose 30 minutes). Then I decided to go to the next one in Edge Street, Northern Quarter right opposite Common (No idea why I did not notice that place EVER) and a very polite gentle man told me they usually take 2-3 days to print things (Lost 30 more minutes). I almost gave up hope and decided to not waste anymore time and call for a cab to go to Oxford Road. While waiting for the cab below my house I decided to look around a bit only to discover that there was Minuteman Press right in front of me (Now you know why I am an Idiot and a BIG one too? ). I went inside and asked the owner how long it would take for him to print 50 copies, and he asked me to come back in one hour. Once I was back, he had everything printed and ready for me and that too extremely good quality professional prints. I paid 40 pounds for 50 flyers which is a bit expensive but definitely worth it when you see the quality of the prints and the time taken. Verdict : Hurray! I have a professional printing place right next to my Flat.
