It is a great independant shop, they have a wide range of books downstairs from fiction, to non fiction and childrens books, the prices are sometimes a little high but they have some reduced prices. The best thing about hurleys is definitley the toy shop, it takes up the whole upstairs of the shop and has pretty much every toy imagineable, from dolls to trikes and board games to pre-school toys such as the night garden and teletubbie toys. My daughter adores this shop and would stay in here all day if she could! Well worth a visit

This shop sells all the up to date releases including the titles from the Richard and Judy book list! It also often advertises books that have been published by local authors. However, the books that are sold here cost a great deal more than those just a few doors down at Superbooks and it is worth bearing that in mind before making a purchase here. The only advantage that this store has over Superbooks is that it has a larger range of up to the minute releases and a larger number of each book - but its definitely worth checking in Superbook first just in case!
