I want to update my review noting that after a very traumatic experience at Mason Dixon ER, I…read morereturned to Timberview for a follow-up. Dr. Sara was beyond wonderful! She explained all the findings of the tests the day prior and explained options of medication for my dog. The ER wanted me to put her down right then and there, stating she would not make it through the night. Here we are a day later, and my dog is still here. Dr. Sara found issues that a previous vet should have found, and now that everything has been noted, we are taking a path of medication with hopes that the dog can have some more time in her life. I am so grateful that I did not listen to the ER staff and put her down. I went with my heart, which told me that it was not the time to do that!

I called on Friday because I got new puppies who had been treated there to make an appointment for…read moretheir shots. the first available appointment was July. I was ask to put a deposit down due to many cancellations or no shows, which I did. Since, I didn't want the puppies to wait so long between their vaccinations, I called my vet this morning. They are able to get us on next week. I called this morning to cancel the appointment and was told it may be too late to get my deposit back. Then I was told it would be given to the manager and may take some time to process. I have called a full 2months before their appointment and expect my refund. After this I would not recommend them, not if they treat new patients this way. Puppies can't wait 2 months between vaccines.

All the other doctors at this practice have been good too. But Dr Hartman seems to go above and beyond for both the pet and the owner. The practice is easy to get appointments and they are about cleanliness. The staff is also kind and caring.

Terrible place! First time visit went horribly wrong!…read more My cat became paralyzed after his first visit from a round of routine vaccines. He was acting what I thought was normal after the visit. He was tired and slept when I brought my cat home. The next day he was not walking or eating. I immediately took him to the closest animal hospital near by. I was told from there he was paralyzed! I called Winding hills where he was seen the day before they told me to bring him in so they could look at him. When I got there I was asked if my cat had got into any poisonous plants or ate a marijuan plant. I do not own any plants let alone smoke any kind of drug. That right there pissed me off! As I recall during my visit the vet tech looked like she was on drugs! She administered his vaccines on his left hind leg and then bam he wasn't walking the next day. After going through hoops and back and forth vet visits that I still had to pay out of pocket for a problem they caused! The vet never reached out at the end to ask me how he was doing or wanted to find the root of the cause. After feeling fed up with it all I took my cat to seek another opinion. Thankfully the problem has been resolved and he's back to being a now more playful kitten! I highly recommend anyone new to not take your pet to this veterinary clinic. They do not care about the well-being of your pet. It's all about the money! I will never return to this place again and want to make sure no one else has to go through the experience that I encountered.

He was suffering from kidneys shutting down and the vet kept him alive over night there at the clinic knowing he was suffering needlessly. He was never going to survive and he just wanted to pad the bill. Our dog was whining and had black stuff coming out of his mouth when we took him there. He extended our beloved pets suffering and ours needlessly. Since then I have heard several people say they had problems with him padding the bill with unnecessary tests. Take your pets else where unless they are treated for fleas.

Blood work was run and I was told she was a little dehydrated but everything was normal. He wanted to keep her overnight for hydration. I agreed to this, 2-3 hours later I receive a call from the office telling me that they found a life-threatening blood infection and that if not treat my cat would die. I asked what the disease was and how much to treat it. I was told my bill would be close to 1,000 dollars. I was again told my cat would die without treatmen. If I don't treat her they Recommend putting down. I said do not treat her and that I was coming to pick her up now. I arrived at the office my bill was 570 dollars for blood work and fluids. He also added a 20 dollar charge for nail trimming that was not authorized. I still had no reasoning for her loss of voice. Took her to another vet office 1 week later and was told she had a viral infection. She was not dying nor was it life threatening. She was treated with an in-office antibiotic injection and sent home with meds. She is happy and on the mend now. Total cost 177 dollars. She had more done at the second office without lab work or fluids for less than half the cost.
